Since you guys are calling Vince Radio ( a mentally disabled person) and he stomped all of your team’s ass last season. What does that make you guys. Oh yeah, a bunch of farmers.
i wouldn't exactly call a 77-0 smackdown by OU "hanging with" OU... Texas needs to completely dominate the aggies to have a shot at a BCS game...
edit: sorry, i guess the team that lost to OU 77-0 didn't come into DKR. either way, if Texas DESTROYS the aggies, i think they'll leapfrog berkeley.
Living in San Diego and being an Aggie Grad, I would LOVE to see the Aggies here in the Holiday Bowl, but it just isn't worth losing to Texas I'll go with the team that has at least beaten OU in recent memory (Now if they could only beat this team in recent memory) Ags 34 t.u. 21 A&M vs. LSU in the Cotton Bowl
Even if A&M were to beat UT, I think they'd still be headed for the Holiday Bowl. The Cotton Bowl has first pick, and they'd likely take a 2 loss Texas team over a 3 loss Aggie team. Anyone know how the Cotton picks its SEC team? I'm kind of hoping for a Texas-Georgia match-up, but it seems all the major sites are saying Texas-LSU, with Georgia headed for the Outback Bowl.
UT's winning this game will do absolutely nothing to put them ahead of Cal. Texas's best chance is a USC loss, as a Cal loss would put Boise State in the top 6. A USC loss that keeps USC ahead of Boise State would drop Cal enough in the computers for Texas to pass them. Edit: Actually, I'm wrong. I just noticed that we're not very far behind Cal at all. A big win over Aggie combined with a sloppy Cal win over their last opponent(Southern Miss, I think?) could move us ahead. Still though, I think a USC loss is our best chance, as I think that Cal will take care of business against Southern Miss.
IMO the winner of UT A&M is heading to the Cotton Bowl. The Cotton won't pass on renewing the A&M LSU rivalry if given the opportunity. It will be moot as UT should handle A&M.
Sweet, apparently DJ will be wearing #60 (Tommy Nobis' old number) for the game. if possible, he could be even more awesome than normal.
Whatever gets M. Brown fired is fine with me. McNeel will have a great game. Young will throw at least one pick. Definitely an interesting game. I can't wait for Friday.
I have it on decent authority that Mack is safe as can be. GD, on the other hand, will most probably be shown the door Reese-style.
So what does he have to do to get fire? As an OU fan, this is good news for me. At least it means some more years of domination - I can just go ahead and give next year's Red River shoot to OU.
Parents are UT alumni, but I go to Berkeley...so I guess....hook'em Horns! but don't pass Cal in the BCS! I smell roses (for cal).
