I'm an aggie, but I think UT fans have earned the right to do that.. Their football program is freaking amazing, and I think dismissing UH isn't really that assholish, I mean, anything less than a 60-point win for Texas against UH would be a stretch. McCoy would run over that excuse of a defense UH has, and Keenum will choke under UT's fierce D ..

Wow pretty classless trolling after a UH victory. Let UH fans enjoy the moment, without this trash.

From one Ag to another, I have to tell you that I think you are wrong. Tech lost to Texas in Austin by 10. Texas would likely beat UH, but it would not be a 60 point drumming.

They didn't beat UTEP by 60. Do you think UH is worse than UTEP?

Your Aggies should put us on the schedule and see how that turns out for you.

Aggies, pshh. Anything and everything ya'll say should just be ignored. You guys have a great recruit class, state of the art facilities, and great fans but still ya'll can't do anything with that. Ya'll take every chance to bash everyone else pretending like your poop don't stink and that your football team is amazing. Face it, your team stinks, year in and year out and ya'll are too scared to schedule UH (and so is UT for that matter).

Props to Tech for giving us a hell of a game though and for having the balls to schedule us. They (Tech) would kill A&M anyways.

Considering there is a 35 page + thread in the hangout about this?

    I'd say you know better.

Actually, the recruiting at A&M did not get to be good until last year. Fran left the cupboard pretty bare. You should pay attention.

Every Aggie I have seen over the last couple of years has been pretty honest that our program is down right now.

Right now? Yes. During the 1980s and the 1990s? Not so much.

LOL...LOL...LOL That is hilarious. The problem is that Robertson is such a crappy stadium that there is not enough seating for the UT or A&M fans that would go to the game. That is exactly why UT will not play there again after that debacle a couple of years ago. UT would beat UH...no doubt. I think it would be by 14 to 17 points.

If you knew anything about college football, you would know that A&M and Tech will play later this year. They are both in the Big XII South so they play EVERY YEAR.

Saying that Tech "would" kill A&M indicates that you have no idea that they will play.

My father went to UH. I went to law school there. We love UH. You are making it really hard to root for UH.

It seems that you forget that until last season, UH was AWFUL and had been for quite a while.

Wow... and that wasn't classless. Dream big though.. Dream big.

That's a little harsh, but I'll agree UH is no where near Texas. I don't know why some people on this board think UH would beat Texas. UH is doing good, but saying that blows things way out of proportion and makes you look stupid.

First, most years A&M is in the top 30 in recruiting class nationwide and that includes the Fran era and I consider top 30 to be a good ranking, but then again, A&M never plays up to that ranking.

Most Aggies I have met say something about their program needing work but will not back down from how great they were or will become. It's just the different people we know I guess, I just can't stand the specific Aggies who think they are automatically better then the other schools (sans UT) just because.

And Yes, I know about their history and it is a great football school with deep deep history and tradition but my statement has been more about their recent struggles. Plus, UH was not so bad during the 80's and early 90's (but I will be the first to admit we have sucked it up for the latter 90's and early 2000's).

I agree about Robertson, but Tech pulled it off playing here. I don't really care where the games is played, I just want the other big teams to give UH a shot at playing them (ala Tech and OKS). UT would probably beat us, but that's what they said about OKS and that's why you play the game.

And I know Tech and A&M play every year, but my statement was made in regards to this year and that they will beat (my opinion, but once again, that's why they play the game) TAMU this year once again (Tech has had A&M's number in the recent past). Sorry for the misuse of my words sir.

I don't hate TAMU, UT, Tech, nor any school for that matter, but I was just riled up over that guys comments. If a team beats you fair and square, then there's nothing to be said. Just give that team it's props and talk about the game, you don't have to bash that team saying this and that. I've attended UH and TAMU and that's just my honest opinion on this matter. I know UH has had horrible HORRIBLE seasons, but for the one time we are getting recognition and getting bashed, I would like to stand up for the coogs.

As far as TAMU sucking, I guess it is just a personal thing for me since I feel that they get a good recruiting class, top of the line programs/facilities, great crowd, great stadium, the best home field advantage (IMO), the best fan/alumni support, but still it turns out to be a mediocre to pathetic team.

As an Aggie myself let me tell you, you're making some dumb statements. UH is a very young team who gave Tech a hell of a game. And their confidence is only rising. Like someone else said, they're a lot better than UTEP. And if OSE beats Texas, what will that say? Get off your high horse, UH with Sumlin is a very good team.

Quit giving excuses about our Ags. We were always ranked pretty high in the recruiting class. Tech has had our number the last couple of years. If there was one facet of Fran the he did have it was recruiting. His coaching was another thing. And if you were a true Ag, you'd gladly cheer for UH beating Texas. Most Aggies talk so much trash about everyone but ourselves. It was a huge mistake for us not to hire Sumlin. He could have been our coach. And they're right, if A&M or Texas wants to back it up schedule UH. Doesnt have to be Robertson.

But until we play them, we have no room to talk trash at them.

A&M has a top 10 recruiting class next year and Sherman has alot to prove on Saturday in Jerry's world. If we can pull out a win in Arlington then I think our program will be heading in the right direction

Agh, you're right! The world is ending!!

Delete this thread and ban everyone who has posted in it. What a horrible thing to do, creating a second thread. If Clutch won't ban everyone, let's just berate them all repeatedly, FFB -- it'll make both of us feel better, and they need to know that they are truly imbeciles.

It's just so nice to have UH good again and on the national scene. I truly miss the Ware and Klingler days. Here's to hoping teams in front of them keep losing, and they are able to go undefeated.

Woww what a game. I used to think college football wasn't all that but having a relevant team changes that so much.

    Go coogs!

Exactly. No one says UT isn't great.

But that stuff is just classless.

I went to the game last night and I'm a tech alum. It was a great game and it left quite a hole inside of me and I can't even study for my GMAT right now. I can't help but dwell on the 4th and 1 where a field goal should have been kicked. Anyway, hats off to UH. This loss hurt pretty bad and hopefully another game is scheduled next year in Lubbock. We need to get even and we need to get even quick.

Yea its a home and home series so we will play you in Lubbock next season. Everybody on the Coog's offense will be back next season so it should be another great game.
