    Coogs 29 Tech 24

Team speed on defense is the difference here.... I think most expect at least 70 points scored, but this figures to be more of a slug it out affair IMO.

Cougar secondary looked kind of physical and athletic. If they can add some pass rush they should be able to hold Tech to about 24 max. UH isn't as good as y'all seem to think but Tech is just bad this year.

C'mon man give us some credit. We beat OSU in Stillwater. This is the best Coogs team in over 20 seasons.

Well lets just say 17 is about right. Its more about where UH can rise than where they currently are at.

Can't you just go gameday and show your ID and they let you in before it reaches capacity? Don't bash me for not knowing, it's just what I heard. I'm a freshman at UH :D

Root for everyone to lose and it's UT vs UH in the MNC

UH beating #5 OSU on road then winning at home vs BCS team Tech and on the road vs Miss St SEC BCS team

It could happen (everyone will need to lose 2 games though)

pfft. I prefer having it here, in the "Houston Sports" forum.

Because the Coogs are a HOUSTON team, baby.

Like I said last year and was echoed in that thread, it is so very good for Houston if UH football can be relevant again.

Go Coogs! A win is as unlikely or more than the win @ OSU, do it again!

I prefer having it where more people will see it and talk about it.

But yeah, the eternal debate about whether UH/Rice belong in this forum continues to rage on...

If I'm not mistaken you just need your ID to get in the game. The line was for people wanting to buy guest tickets.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

I know all the big time teams wont lose 2 games. But if Clemson beats Tcu this week and Boise loses sometime this season then we gotta be the #1 non bcs conference school to get a crack at the sugar or orange bowl.

I heard Matress Mac was putting up a big screen in the parking lot, if true can we just tailgate even if you're not a student?

Mods need to merge these two threads and make a sticky for the big game.
