Yes but he did not go undefeated at Texas Tech. That was almost 10 years ago and he had 3 first rounders in his backfield. He was 9-17 in Big 12 play. Kingsbury is young but he cannot do any worse than what Tubberville did. If they made the right call he could be here for the next 25+ years. We'll see.... Pass Pass Pass Pass seemed to work pretty good for Sumlin.
Yeah I was incredibly worried about Sumlin. He's done well with Sherman's NFL caliber recruits and he's recruiting well now on his own in the SEC. I don't see captain passy recruiting well when he looks younger than the kids. Pew-pew-pew-pass-pass-pew-pew-gun-em-gunny-yee-haw.
Spoiler Pew-pew-pew we got that there passin' the football back again in ole Lubbock, pew-pew-pew, that's all it takes a little ziggly route here a outty-out over there, pew-pew first down, pew-pew.
You can't really talk s*** about pew-pew passin' football when your program is basically the gold standard for it now.
Ummm...Kevin Sumlin is your head coach You beat Alabama with that pew pew first down pew pew. The spread offense is Saban's kryptonite, and he says the same in the media quite openly. Embrace it and kick their ass again next season.

Spread offenses typically feature a very mobile QB. Geno Smith was mobile as hell. A&M plays a far more up tempo game passing game than any other team in the SEC. I think they should embrace that. It worked.
Kliff Kingsbury is fun to watch. The sunshades when Ponder was interviewing him; Spinning the football on his finger behind Jesse Palmer in Pre-game; and cussing up a storm after Texas Tech gets a touchdown are all pretty hilarious to me. Head Coaches don't act tike that.
Crazy game. So many big paid taken back for penalties. But Damn. Tech only with 13 yards the second half. 6 min left in the fourth quarter Lol
So in the last 5 minutes of this TCU game (with TCU down 7), I'm gathering: * TCU punts, ball hits a Tech player, refs don't see it. Refs instead call a kick-catch interference penalty on a guy who didn't remotely interfere with a kick. Would have been TCU ball on Tech's side of the field; instead it's Tech ball on TCU's side of the field. * Tech fumbles on first play but is called down * Tech runs another play, then refs decide to review the fumble, and let the call stand * Refs also allow the play that Tech ran after to still count (this does benefit TCU since they were stuffed for no gain) This might be the worst 5 minutes of reffing I've seen.
Spoiler <iframe width="480" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bIIklQOMV7A?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> So we had a fox and... Spoiler "Oops, did I just say that!" Spoiler <iframe width="480" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/MntsV29tWNI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And of course the big cluster**** that was the game itself.
Texas Tech is so fun to watch! The real test starts next week though. I'll start believing they're for real if they beat Oklahoma.
