That will be interesting. Me and my two brothers all went to Tech, so all of us got tickets back in the spring this year. Of course, I was expecting a noon game. Do they sell beer there, or will I actually have to sneak in a flask?

http://www.uhcougars.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/092409aaa.html The University of Houston and Texas Tech match-up is highly anticipated, but fans will be able to enjoy more than just football this Saturday as Houston Athletics has several promotions planned for what is expected to be the largest crowd in the history of Robertson Stadium. Saturday's game against Texas Tech is part of Red Rage where all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear red to the game. Hakeem Olajuwon will serve as an honorary captain for this game. Olajuwon led the Houston Rockets to back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995 before being inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008. Olajuwon played basketball for the Cougars under coach Guy Lewis from 1980-84. While at UH, his teammates and he formed what was dubbed "Phi Slama Jama", the first slam-dunking "fraternity." During half time fans will be able to enjoy The Sprit of Houston band, as well as Tech's band, the Goin' Band from Raider Land. The Cougar Authentic item of the game is authentic game-worn football jerseys for only $50 and replica jerseys for $35. Saturday's game kicks off at 8:15 p.m., at Robertson Stadium and can be heard live on 790 AM The Sports Animal with Tom Franklin calling the play-by-play action, Ted Pardee providing color analysis and Chuck Brown reporting from the sidelines. The pregame show is scheduled to begin one hour before kickoff. Fans also can follow live stats over the Internet by clicking the "Gametracker" link at UHCougars.com.
