Been around these parts a long time, some people would be better served to say "I was wrong" as opposed to just making excuses. Or trolling persons facebooks and myspaces.
Whats wrong with giving props to UH but still thinking Tech is the better team? heck thats what 99.9% of UT "alumni-students" did last year when Tech pulled off the upset....
I agree, but Iowa had a HUGE jump in the rankings and UH has defeated a few good opponents. If Mich beats MSU next week, Iowa's next chance to leap will be after Mich comes to Kinnick in 2 weeks in primetime. I didn't get to see much of the UH game and wanted to watch a replay. I've only found one so far, unless it is the ESPNU game of the week tonight. (Iowa/PSU was on last night ) DVR ALERT! There is a 2 hour condensed version being aired Wednesday Morning from 2:30 AM to 4:30 AM on ESPN2. Enjoy it Coogs!
from twitter: RT @CoachSumlin Saturday was fun, but it will be hard for 3 guys to play this week without their helmets. Please return, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
And I thought it was the UH defense that stopped those running plays. I guess it was Leach that stopped them.
call me a bandwagon fan but i am very happy to see that UH is doing well...I wish I could see that during my undergrad years! i'm still trying to learn the football and i'm getting there. go coogs!
I remember The Cat stating his opinion about Mizzou against Texas last year. He had every right to boast his team. However, he was as gracious as one could be in defeat and praised UT afterwards. Fatty? He's just a little ignorant, distasteful, _______ (fill in as you please).
So... You're mad at Mike Leach being Mike Leach. UH couldn't stop the run and the screen pass. Mike Leach used the run and screen pass. He went for it on 4th down. He's MIKE LEACH. He has GIANT BALLS. They just got into trouble. With VERY few exceptions, there is no "lucky" in sports. Two teams played. Two teams made bad calls. Two teams made mistakes. UH didn't get lucky. Whichever team takes advantage of the most opportunities to win wins the game. Period. Stop your whining, and take it like a man. Eat 'em up, eat 'em up, go Coogs go. I can't believe they're having this much success this early. I was hoping for MAYBE a top 25 next year -- to be 12 this year? Amazing. I've been a UH fan since a year before I transferred from North Texas. The Liberty Bowl game. My first UH game was a losing one. I've loved 'em ever since.
Hmmm....So by your thinking, Deep down in your heart Blake Gideon catches that football, and you guys are still looking for a meaningful win in 100 years of Tech football. OK, whatever.
That's not what Fatty is doing. Also, when you have 2 more losses than the team that beat you, you can't really claim you are the better team.
