Hopefully this will the giant step forward the the program. Good to see Keenum bounced back from the pick and marched down the field with ice in his veins. Keenum for Heisman!!!!!

That's just Mike Leach being Mike Leach.

Big East doesn't have a private school. At least not in football, they do in basketball.

The MAC doesn't have any private schools at all. Neither does the WAC.

I thought it had something to do with taxes.

The rest of the Cougars schedule is not all gimmies. Miss. St. almost beat LSU and S. Miss. almost beat Kansas today.

UH is probably going to score again, a FG does little good except making them go for a 2 pt conversion. If we go for it and make it, that might be enough points to win the game. If we don't make it, UH has to go 99 yards to beat us.

nice win, coogs! but...sumlin just punched his ticket out of c-usa... maybe colorado, maryland, or virginia comes calling now. either way, it's going to be tough to "build a program" with the recruiting power at UT, LSU, OSU, and OU right here. i think he's gone in two years.

IIRC, Baylor is in the Big 12 because they were too politically connected in Texas to be denied when the old SWC was broken up and the State of Texas had to decide on who would go where. Ann Richards (a Baylor alum) was governor at the time and she took care of her alma mater. At the time, there was a lot of resentment from UH people because they felt much more deserving athletically, but they could do nothing about it.

I believe it has something to do with releasing financial records. If a conference has a private school, they don't have to disclose as much, thus Baylor remains in the Big 12 and Vanderbilt is in the SEC.

I dunno if UH will lose a game at home...I think the one they need to worry about is @ Miss. St.

That's how they got in. It's another reason why they won't be kicked out, at least not for a public university. If they did kicked out, my bet would be TCU would replace them. But I believe Art Briles is going to turn them around like he did UH.

2 things I learned from watching this game:
    1. Texas Tech & Taylor Potts are TRASH
    2. University of Houston definitely does NOT deserve all the hype

I mean, how such a sorry ass team (tech) was able to hang around that long is beyond me! the defenses on both sides are collective jokes. UH couldn't stop Batch to save their lives, and Tech let that excuse of a QB Keenum have his way the whole game.. ridiculously awful game, but glad UH was able to pull the win against Leach and his team of assclowns. But will you UH fans PLEASE try to contain yourselves? you're not gonna make it to the Big12, Keenum won't be for Heisman, and the national championship is kind of not feasible for y'all.. oh, and for the love of god, don't ruin my pleasure of listening to sports radio by your idiocy, pretty please!
