Yeah man, Sumlin will definently recruit great talent and all this national exposure wont hurt us either. We need more pride in this city!
No, just astounded with you're groundbreaking posts that go out on the limb. I have no idea why you think of yourself as a stupid poster. Why?
Unless someone recruits Sumlin first. Either way, I went to UT but I was rooting like crazy for UH at my friend's place. My dad worked there so I was always at the UH campus, so it has a nice little place with me. Regardless, it must be an exciting time. I'm glad to see UH having some success. Keep it up.
Viable option. TCU maybe be a bit more deserving, but can't argue either looking at it right now. Baylor is just awful.
Jackson Jeffcoat #1 DE in the nation... is considering UH http://rivals.yahoo.com/tamu/football/recruiting/player-Jackson-Jeffcoat-68202 http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recr...ool?page=considering&season=2010&schoolId=248 He is getting recruited by his dad Jim Jeffcoat http://www.uhcougars.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/jeffcoat_jim00.html hopefully we can get him signed now
Matt Jackson said that Dominque Sachse had some event, and said that UH had the alumni money to retain Sumlin.
here's a good read on that http://blog.newsok.com/berrytramel/2009/09/10/houston-the-big-12-what-might-have-been/
That is great to hear. Big schools are going to come knocking for sure. I hope he sticks with what he has begun and help UH become a power house...
Lol, I saw one of my life long buddies run on the field and shake the coaches hand after the game, lol. Crazy stuff. Great Game, both teams played their butts off. Quite a few mistakes for both teams, but Im glad to see my fiancees school (UH) take the win. Shots (Jager and Red Bull) over here at my house! Go Coogs.
Good game UH. I'll root for them the rest of the way its just to bring attention to Houston.. You should root for Tech the rest of the way as well if they go in the tanker and go 7-5 or something win doesnt look as impressive
They do have one OOC game against Mississippi St. in Starkville. They have to play Tulsa in Tulsa. They're a young team. They need to remain focused and not take any game for granted. If they win out, the should be Top 10. The highest ranked team from a Non BCS conference is guaranteed a BCS game if they're in the Top 12. There can be only one automatic bid given to a non BCS conference team. This means that if Boise St. and/or TCU go undefeated as well and are ranked ahead of UH, UH won't get an auto bid. They'd have to compete for an at large bid which isn't likely to happen. So UH fans need to root for Boise St. and TCU to lose at least once.
I read or heard somewhere that each conference has to have a private school, hence UH not likely replacing Baylor in the Big 12.
That is my only concern, but not too much. I think Kevin Sumlin will have these guys ready and not get too far ahead of themsselves.. two game stand out E. Carolina and Miss St
