Cotton Turner I believe is a senior, so you can scratch him off the list of replacing Keenum.

 

I think he's a redshirt junior, but not 100 sure on that.

 

Correct he is a redshirt junior.

He played at Blinn in 2007. Redshirted in 2008 at UH. Was a Sophomore in 2009. Now is a Junior in 2010. He has a year left.

 

Pretty sure he does have a year left. Will be interesting to see who's dubbed the heir apparent between Turner, Kolhausen, Piland, and Broadway. Quarterback is one of the positions UH has always recruited best.

 

1-0 UH in the modern era.

3-0 SWT in the era with leather helmets.

 

IMO, it's Turner's to lose. You could pencil him in as a starter barring injuries or other setbacks.
