I agree, but the T-Wolves step up their game when they play the top teams. No other team has giving them a beating like the rockets.

Being short handed plays a part in the Rockets not able to go on 10+ game winning streaks.

    Add to this:

    Rockets 104, Bobcats 83

    Rockets 111, Celtics 80

    Rockets 112, Nets 91

    Rockets 124, Sixers 74

16 wins of 20 points or more.

wait a minute!!! wait just a minute!! are you saying that we're winning 24% of the time by 20 points or more!?!?!?! Imagine that... we're winning almost 1/4th of our games by 20 points or more with yao gone for however many games he's gone and this bonzi wells problem. Anyone have stats on how many games the top 3 wins by 20 or more?

One of them is actually 18 points and another is 19 points, just to be picky.

However, that makes 16 of our 42 wins, which is roughly 38% of the time that we win, it's by 18+. Overall (including losses), yes it's 24% of the time.

    It should be 14.

2 of the wins from Blue Beluga's list are not by 20 points:
    Cle Win 81-63
    SA Win 97-78

The beauty of the whooping is that the Rockets don"t have to gloat. The performance does the talking...It would be a mistake by anyone on the team if they don"t stay humble. Just be great and let others (analysts, us) do the ooing and ahhing...

These blowouts are great and everything, but I'm not going to be really satisfied until we stomp the spit out of Dallas.

You don't remember the second game of the season? The Rockets officially stomped the spit out of Dallas.

am I the only one who does not like blowouts...especially in the playoffs...

dont take me wrong a win is a win... and if you can win by big...then... :D

but I don't like the game that comes after a blowout...more so in the playoffs... when the next game is more often then not close to the end...

Statistics have shown that average margin of victory is a strong predictor of a team's playoff success. Houston is 4th in the league in average point differential at +5.5, behind San Antonio (+8.1), Dallas (+8.0) and Phoenix (+6.9).

I remember that game, but doing it now will mean so much more.

I know! They've gotten by with a lot of really close games (only beat Boston by 5 the other day, Detroit by 4, Rockets by 3 in the last meeting). I HATE THEM!!!!!
