Texas Republicans have been among the loudest voices about a "culture of life". Yet in this issue and several other issues time and again they not only accept deaths but rationalize them. Further this party that thinks the culture of life is sacrosanct are so willing to celebrate the tools of death.
I still love to come to the D&D once in a while just to read some of the posters on the left comments, they are so hilarious and so removed from reality - hopefully they are doing it for some sort of shock value, they cannot believe the stuff they write… do they?
Nah, it won't put money in his filthy greedy pockets like supporting the NRA does. One thing I don't doubt though is that if Ted Cruz or Trump had lost kids in a school shooting their stance on guns wouldn't change. They value money and power over their offspring or wives.
And yet so many want to leave their liberal utopia to come live in Texas. virtue signaling is for clowns
All them brown people running around with no documentation? How could good honest folk tell them apart? Abbot wakes at night in a cold sweat when he has nightmares about such things.
That's what happens when all the property goes up with mega stars with money all bringing the property values up and driving out the working class in places like southern California. That, or they are stuck living with multiple families or $150,000 shacks of homes in inner city ghettos. Ask the people of 3rd Ward, 5th Ward, or inner city projects how they like gun toting gang bangers and drug dealers roaming their neighborhoods. Ask the people who lost kids in all these Texas school shootings how they love our gun lover freedom laws. Ask the people who live near chemical spewing power plants how they love regulations cut to lure the big corporations. Ask them how they like living in toxic waste environments that ooze chemicals and toxins with every summer flooding. Ask all the uninsured Texans how it feels to not be able to afford a doctor or prescriptions. Ask the people in 127 Texas counties how it feels to have more fun dealers than mental healthcare providers. Ask the parents with gay children or the gay kids on the streets who had parents reject them how it feels living in the land where "gays are pedophiles" and "acceptance is grooming" mentality Texas. We're the best in the nation in making sure it stays that way as long as they stay in power.
They are the party that likes to require one to vote and also the party that loves making it harder to vote...so probably.
Texas is great for upper middle class professionals such as engineers, lawyers, etc. It's great for corporate executives also. But there is a reason why it's also dead last in percentage of residents with healthcare coverage.
people move to TX to live in Democratic Houston, Dallas, or liberal Austin nobody is moving here to live in MAGAville TX without those 3 cities is basically Mississippi or Alabama aka a flyover state
All of the large cities...San Antonio, McAllen, Brownsville, El Paso included. You're right, though. Yeah, Tesla moved here...to Austin. Not Williamson or Hays County either. Very liberal Travis County.
Is that right? From looking at the map, the factory is within a couple of miles of ABIA, well within the Travis county. It's closer to downtown Austin than Bastrop.
It is in Travis County - barely, but is not paying any taxes, most of the employees are living in Bastrop, or Cedar Creek which is just before Bastrop, one of my dear friends is in charge of building the factory.....he is on my bowling team......which is how I know. DD
