    Merely a procedural move to help the sale go faster. The Tribune Co. did the same thing to help the sale of the Cubs go through quicker.

    The Rangers are a rumored trade partner with the Astros for Oswalt but waiting for the completion of the sale of the Rangers could hold up any deal...

    And with a publicly funded ballpark, courtesy of pre-governor W. I guess baseball is hard to make money at if you outspend your market.
