It's plain and simple, we lost. That call didn't make the difference. I'm just glad I sold my ticket. I didn't feel like getting harrassed by a bunch of UT fans today.

rofl give me a f'in break, what are you some lame closet sooner fan? seems like every post you've made in this thread is whining about the refs and the instant replays even over on soonerfans.com, seems like 90% of them are logical and rational enough to fully admit that those calls weren't the reason OU lost the game. they said themselves that OU just flat out sucked in the second half and didn't deserve to win whatsoever... I have to give them total respect for manning up and saying that. you however, should do the same and stop crying like that kid. at least that kid is so young that he wouldn't know any better, you don't have that excuse (at least I don't think)

I never said those calls cost OU the game. I just didn't agree with the officials again. Not just this game but there were others. And btw.... OU did suck in the 2nd half. Thats why they couldn't score. The better team did win today and congrats to them on that. I hope UT makes another run for the NC. I'm not a horn hater and I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't make those immature comments either.
obviously you missed the part where I referred to all your other previous posts in this thread. don't make me re-link them, they were pretty much all talking about the refs calls or instant replays or sarcastic comments to UT posters. none really gave credit to the fact that UT just plain outplayed OU in the game, overall but you addressed that in the latter half of your reply, so I'll drop it
bias? lol, if that play had happened to UT, you guys would be in an uproar right now. Either way, the call didn't change the game, UT would have still won, but it may have changed the spread for those of us who bet on the game.
Great game...Watched it at Dukes...Tons of hot UT and OU chicks everywhere... Ok, the kid crying was freakin' hilarious...sue me...The OU fans were crying foul the entire game, saying it was just like Oregon...BS...
LOL! I love these dumb football threads! I never care about any of the teams, but I always click here expecting pictures or videos like the one above. Oh, and it's okay to laugh at the kid crying... if he can get that sad over a FOOTBALL GAME then his life must be pretty good. Maybe he'll use this sorrow to grow up and become the next QB of OU though, and take out all of this sadness and rage on Texas in ten years or so.
Give the kid a break. I would find it hard to believe that none of you guys cried during game 7 of the first round of the playoffs 2 years ago.
I thought it was going to be overturned after they showed the first replay, but if you rewatch it...you can see that the ball doesn't go foward. But like most of ya'll said, it wouldn't have changed the game. But great 2nd half by the Horns. Stoop's 3 TE set really gave us trouble in the 2nd quarter, good to see Chizik make the right adjustments. And hats off the Mack and Co. for opening up the playbook for Colt. The kid played a flawless 2nd half.
I wouldn't say flawless, but he did have a pretty good 3rd quarter. There were a couple of very contested passes that he should have been thrown elsewhere. Limas Sweed is turning into a pretty good receiver. Charles and Young are great in the backfield. UT's offense should be much better. They still score a lot, but a lot of that is because the defense and special teams give them great field position usually.
OU is pretty much screwed. They lose Peterson. They have no QB. The heart of their defense graduates. Malcom kelly is good but who will throw him the ball and protect the QB? Their OLine is very suspect. They have not received any major commitments from the top Texas kids and yesterday's game certainly didn't help.
Yeah, we're pretty much f*cked for the next 2-3 years. It'll be way, WAY, worse that Texas' losing streak, 'ccause the Horns at least had reason to think they could win all those years. We won't. Wouldn't surprise me if Stoops decided to leave, either. Ah well, it's sports. Sh*t happens. There are gonna be high points and low points. Rockets fans know this better than anyone. Btw, I decided to change my sig anyway, as it really wasn't making much sense anymore.
