How scared are they of losing Texas if they have to resort to stuff like this? Are we looking at a landslide this November?

If that's what you took from what I don't know what to say except that your comprehension skills are poor.

It's very telling that you think this is a gunfight.

It's why I worry for the country to many people want to take a side, do we teach our kids to take revenge and settle scores?

That's my thinking as well it looks like a pure panic move and must show that democrats are way ahead in mail in ballots.

lol he is an "independent" who just happens to vote Republican close to 100% of the time. I know "libertarian" lol or the occasional Dixiecrat.
I guess it is a step to the good that many folks are embarrassed to be labeled Republican.

saw this quote the other day, and it’s so true

“If conservatives become convinced that they can not win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. The will reject democracy.”

The election drop box suppression scheme made the ABC National News. Not a good image for Texas.

Yeah I do, this is a pure panic move.

Democrats are requesting mail ballots at much greater rates, at least in Florida.

It IS a gunfight, both literally and metaphorically, or how many more people have to die to gun violence simply to satisfy the corporate greed of some gun manufacturers?

This is not about revenge, but recognizing the reality that the other side is not playing by the same rules you want to straight jacket yourself with.

Being naive about the issues is why we have the situation that we are in, where people's votes are 'legally' suppressed and others are simply disenfrachised, all done by a minority that is doing everything to stay in power.

If the democrats do not have and take the opportunity to make changes, then eventually the people will take the law into their own hands. Then you will see what it truly means to settle scores!

They don't think that it is protecting democracy. They are people that have values and opinions that are antiquated and no longer are representative of the majority of people, but they will do anything to prevent change. So they gladly support measures to restrict political representation and participation.

The Republican party has had a demographics problem for years. The party either had to become more inclusive by changing it's position on issues or it had to find a way to marginalize the voices of the growing majority. The party has largely failed at becoming more inclusive, but succeeded at marginalizing the opinions and views of the majority.

    Wow.

I don't agree especially with there being a "side" per say for the majority of the country.

I am definitely not naive and the democrats have the opportunity on Nov 3rd and into the future.

But go ahead and continue with the manifesto.
