Texas drops to #3, Florida #1, Alabama #2

    Texas needs to show up in the first half of games to get the No. 2 ranking back.

    Mostly because if they do that against teams like OU, OSU and Kansas, they won't have a chance to come back


    Then again, maybe they will against OSU since that seems to be UT's m.o. against them.

    Very doubtful that happens, a late loss (no matter how tightly contested) would definitely throw the loser behind the closest 1 loss team. Especially if the other 1 loss team is a BCS conference winner. Even though the computers might favor a rematch in your scenario, human voters would have a hard time voting in a team that just lost their conference championship game.

    I agree. Texas better wake up.

    I don't know. The last three times in Stillwater, 03, 05 and 07, Texas has had to come back from big deficits to win. I hope Texas is able to jump on OSU in stillwater for a change.
