What kind of time commitment do you need from the new wife? Keep your bar low and shouldn't be hard to find on 6.

Ha. The only requisite I need from a wife is one who is happy to move to Australia for a year. Be proposed to. Bring me back to Texas.

    I like corkscrew in spring
They do the line queue better with two cashiers and all the work done in the back.
You miss seeing your brisket being cut but the speed of the line is worth it

Want to try truth in the heights

It’s not Texas BBQ as I’m sitting in the San Elijo State Park in SoCal. There’s a place right across the called Seaside Market and they sell an open flame grilled Tri-tip sandwich called the Cardiff Crack Sandwich. Loaded with Tri-tip fried onion strings and a little BBQ sauce. Tasty sandwich for sure.

Was in there on Tuesday. Sat one table over from Lyle Lovett who is a regular there. Man that brisket and ribs is some good stuff.

    I tried Truth recently.

I've had better brisket, but their ribs were probably some of the best I've ever had.

Also - if you go. Get their tater tot casserole.

Where is the best place to buy Beef short ribs uncooked.

    For a reasonable price?

Saw some at Wal-Mart but only at one location.

Be wary of the ones at walmart, they hardly have any meat on them. Good for a quick grilling but not so much for smoking. TBH, I dont think Ive seen really good beef ribs other than a butcher. You may want to ask a person at a krogers or heb meat department to see if they can get them in for you.

Edit: didnt see SHORT ribs the first time. Krogers should have them or maybe try La Michoacana.

Any asian (esp korean) or hispanic market should have them. So should most proper gringo groceries.

Yeah, any decent butcher should be able to get you some to your specifications. May have to order in advance.

Yeah but that would be pricey, wanted some for reasonable price.

Wal-Mart had them for 5 pound rack about 26 dollars.

Just don't see them that often.

Not sure. I frequent that area when I'm in town visiting my family but I have a hard time making it anywhere other than Fajita Jack's.
