Nutt was squirming in his press conference. He knows there's a picture of him throwing down the horns in the UT locker room. He says he got caught up in the moment and didn't mean it as any disrespect. Perhaps it is being blown out of proportion but anything to get this team motivated is a good thing. Otherwise Arkansas would be the only squad up for it.

FYI- I've never been one of the gimps who overloads on booze and targets fans from other teams who attend UT related functions or games. *I'm also not one who loves to argue about who's school is better and bash fans from rival colleges, which is why you won't see me enter any thread where this behavior is taking place. I'm sure many of my UT brothers hated me 2 years ago when I was hosting a tailgate before the OU/UT game, and invited OU fans within shouting distance over for free beer a grub. I'm sure half of them thought I was poisoning them, but they all left with a good buzz, full stomach, and newfound appreciation for some Longhorn fans. Yes, some of us actually act like grown ups. *[Edit to add] I still don't know why Nutt doing the upside down Horns thing irritated me so much. Maybe it was because I lost a good amount of cash on that game, but that is the only negative comment I can say about that loss. I have much respect for the Razorbacks, and this game worries me, unlike my other UT peeps. Should be a good game, but damn straight I probably won't have any fingernails left when it's over. Thanks, Smokey. People who post without having their facts straight get old quick..... Texas plays Ohio St. in 2005, I believe. I would think they'll still be a top 10 powerhouse then. Also, you make a good point about not knowing how good teams will be that far in advance. i think UNC is a great example. They were a borderline top 10 or 15 team when Mack Brown left, and scheduled them. Who knew they'd turn to utter crap.
Really, why are you people talking this game up. There is nothing to talk about. UT is supposed to demolish the unranked hogs. Only if the hogs upset the horns will there be anything to talk about. I know there is a rivalry between the two teams, but with the horns ranked #4 in the nation, they should kill the hogs. You people need to quit trying to justify your loss in the Cotton Bowl by saying the game meant nothing. A loss is a loss. Go Hogs.
Nevermind...it just hit me...must have needed sleep! It's not exactly the same, since we Arkansas fans would never refer to our selfs as piggies, but Pigs is fine and dandy. I guess it's like the Calf/Steer relationship.
That rumor is false. Arkansas fans feel their biggest hopes lie in the running abilities of Cobbs and Jones.
