I didn't know that Smokey was an Aggie fan; I always thought he was a realist Horn fan.

It is amazing how he mentions OU "automatically" means he must be an "aggy" - *giggle*

    Thanks Manny.

I am keeping it real: Mack Brown will never beat Bob Stoops again. I feel no joy in making fun of a run down program like A&M when we are the laughing stock of top 10 programs. Feel free delusional Horns to bring this up in October.

Texas A&M may have good academics and tradition, but it is basically a joke. It's got a homogenous student body that's like 95% white and conservative.

Other reasons why aggy is getting worse:

    The grass is a "memorial"
Scoreboard for dead dogs outside Kyle Field
    Lack of diversity
Male cheerleaders in milkmen outfits -> squeezing their nuts
Located in a small town with little nightlife
    "humpin it"
Corp of Cadets -> bunch of tools playing GI Joe
Full of bubbas with crew cuts

    The Curse of The Bear

Dennis Francione is a weasel. He went to Alabama and begged with the players to stick it out and not transfer in the wake of the scandals and probation. Pleading that , "together, as a family" they would deal with the adversity that had befallen them.

Then he snuck out of town...to A&M.

Alabama does not lose coaches to A&M. The indignity has risen Bear Bryant's ghost from the grave. He will continue to haunt A&M program for as long as long as that lying scumbucket, traitor of a weasel is the coach. 4-8 may look good for this and all future A&M teams.

Let The Bear rest in peace, fire Francione!

Is there anyone from Texas with no ties to Alabama that would take the Alabama job over the A&M job?

I sure as hell wouldn't. No offense, it's Alabama. Fran may be a liar but he has roots in Texas and when one of the premiere jobs here opens up you take it.

    Let it go.

I guess Bear was sleeping when Price was yelling it's rolling while banging a stripper.

I covered that whole sorry episode and I remember the spring practice shirt which said "Hold the Rope," which was an allusion to a tug of war where Fran encouraged his troops not to "let go" even with all of the problems and probation.

Instead, that lying weasel let go of the rope, screwed over those players who placed their trust in him and betrayed an entire state. As for leaving Alabama to go to A & M, no offense, TAMU fans, but that's like trading your Mercedes in for a Chevrolet. TAMU will always be second-tier to UT in Texas, just like Auburn will always be second fiddle to Alabama. I see this as karmic justice.

The right coach can win national championships at Alabama. As for TAMU, don't get your hopes up. You'll need more than a 12th man to get you to the BCS this year.

FWIW, i is a gradiate of Tamu and did most of my undergradjit work at TCU. I just know a carpetbagging scumbucket weasel when I see one.

And, And!, I think it's just deserts for the inferiority complexed fixated, money boys that had Coach 'Salt of The Earth', "Everything A Momma Would Want Her Boy's Coach To Be"
Slocum cast out like a leper just because he couldn't beat TU on a consistant basis.

Yeah, and Rick Perry's goin' down too! ya bunch of penny loafer losers.

They stopped cheating. Here's a timeline of Aggie Football -

    1939 : win national title.

1940 - Hiring of Jackie Sherril : Team sucks.

Jackie Sherril Era : Rampant cheating at A&M, only overshadowed bt SMU's even rampanter cheating.

A&M maintained some momentum from the cheating - but that momentum died, and now that suck again.

Then you clearly weren't around when they were beating us, storming our field, defacing our field, etc. **** em.

People would let it go, you know if Franchione hadn't stabbed his players in the back - and if A&M were a premier program.
