Exactly. I hope Fran crashes and burns there. My question is to the Aggie fans, why don't they have a defense? None of their guys can tackle (there must have been over 100 missed tackles) and athleticism on defense is close to non-existent.
I love it. The only comebacks aggy fans have regard OU. When you rely on a 3rd team to defend yourself vis a vis another team's fans... that's pitiful. aggy: you don't attend OU. Kindly refrain from referring to them as if it somehow justifies your complete suckitude.
I don't know. Actually, a lot of guys have told me that the new coach pushes them a lot harder than Slocum did. I guess the more talented players go to more popular schools. I mean, unless you're into A&M tradition and have family here, I don't think the top notch players would have A&M as the 1st choice. The only other advantage here for a baller is the huge amount of hot white chicks here. UT has hot multicultural chicks, but A&M has more and hotter white chicks. I don't know too much about football though. The dudes seem pretty atheletic to me, but so do other players from other schools. Are A&M players smaller and slower?, or not equally talented? or is it the coaching scheme? Or are they just too young? I'd appreciate some decent analysis on why A&M is so bad.
They lose all the time, and their main hobby is making fun of UT. Living in the middle of nowhere must suck too.
That's not true. A lot of people here hate UT...but that doesn't answer anything. They were a really good football team in the 90's. What happened? And College Station is not the middle of nowhere. It's not so bad either. I've lived in Lubbock for a few weeks. There's a lot more driving to get from Lubbock to the next place than from College Station to Houston or San Antonio. What did Mack Brown do to make UT better than before? What did Bob Stoops do to make OU so good? There are the types of questions I could anser easily in basketball, but I have no idea here.
too many Freshmen and redshirt Freshmen in the team who were playing their first away game in their college career...some of them showed some flash of talent though There had been a lot of player transferring due to changes in the coaching staff...the new staff might have different approach than the old staff and some players had a problem adjusting to that. The current upperclassmen are from 2000/2001 recruits who were the worst RC recruits oh yeah..last one....Reggie McNeal is a crap QB, especially in terms of decision-making and reading defenses..still a great runner though.. we really miss Dustin Long...he might help a bit
Yeah, it's nice to see the haters out in full force. I think JTQ answered it. The team is young. Fran mentioned 20 kids played their first college football game last night. About all you can hope for this season is for the young players to gain some experience and improve as the season goes on...and then maybe the Aggies can be competive next year.
kindly point me to the post where an Aggie fan references OU...thanks. I might have missed it what with all the pointless, bandwidth-wasting Aggie-bashing posts. I guess that's par for the course on this board. And yet Texas fans claim that Aggies are the one's that are obssessed with hating them. You wouldn't know from reading this board, where Texas fans can't seem to help themselves recycle the same ole insults over and over and over again everytime A&M is even mentioned. ...sad
