True...but I ink e question is whether there are funded facilities dedicated to any other groups. If they do not fund a facility specifically serving a subset of the student body, then there should not be a problem with not funding this facility. If they routinely fund such facilities, then they should fund this one too.

If you consider humans an animal, then yes, they can be Christians.

I doubt it's a facility but rather an office in an existing building. Not much different from student counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, etc. It's basically a service for gay folks to get counseling for going to a school with known diversity problems. The school has the wisdom to see the benefit in that but the students are the ones who've created that reputation and that's lost on them as evidenced by their actions.

Why aren't they wanting to fund this resource center?

LOL. That is about the dumbest thing I've read in a while. Kudos.

What an idiot. You've managed to make the D&D version of basso look like a rational person. Congratulations, chump. Now why don't you do two things, OK? Grow some tolerance, if such a thing can nuture in that questionable noggin of yours, and study something besides The Handbook for Bigotry, 12th grade edition.

It's intolerant to say what? That homosexuality is a belief system. Look it up. Most who decide to commit homosexual acts believe that it is morally right. Based on that belief, they act. Just like based on my beliefs, I believe it is an unnatural act.

Deckard, you called me an idiot, a chump, and someone who studies bigotry. Why not ask me a few questions about myself before you begin to make slanderous accusations about me.

I have many homosexual friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. All of which would gladly testify on my behalf. While tolerant of their life choices, they completely understand that I disagree on the morality of their choice. Just like they are tolerant of my view and disagree with it.

I just happen to believe that as an American citizen we should be allowed to vote and make choices based on my beliefs. I fully support homosexuals doing the same.

Please do me a favor, and explain to me your superior understanding.

Actually, homosexuality is a psychological disorder. But let's not tell them about their "issues"

I don't buy it, not at all. I think you are wildly off-base for thinking that being homosexual is due to a "belief system." I also seriously doubt that those you call your friends who are homosexuals, as you describe them, "completely understand" what you think about their sexuality, or else if they do, are being polite enough to blow off how you think in order to avoid conflict for reasons of their own. Purely my opinion, obviously. I shouldn't have called you an idiot, however. I should give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you're just ignorant.

My understanding is superior because I don't take my cues from the bible. I rely on science and evidence to form my beliefs on issues. I evaluate all the available data and then I come to a conclusion. I don't try to pick and choose things to fit the conclusion that's been given to me by god.

Being gay doesn't ascribe you to any belief any more or less than being straight. It's a ridiculous contention.

So instead of responding, you conject your opinion about people you do not know and put a roll eyes face. The level of conversation on this subject is illuminating. Please, I await a rebuttal of my statement.

    I have a black friend...
Also its not a choice. I can't choose to be gay, just like I can't choose to be black.
Its immoral to be born with a condition that you can't control? Well Hitler thought it was immoral to not be born German.

You are allowed to feel however you want. But you still have not refuted my statement. I have had many long conversations with my friends on the state of gender roles and sexuality preferences. My friends know I care about them even I disagree with what they believe. It is possible. They also care about me, even though they disagree with me.

What "statement?" That homosexuality is a "belief system?" Are you kidding?
