what now with the BCS????? There is no way on earth that the BCS is going to have a oregon-k-state national title game. I half think that Notre Dame is going to leapfrog either oregon or k-state. That is, if alabama moves down to 3 or lower.
I'll eat my crow, kinda. I didn't think A&M could compete because of coaching and just how the program has been over the past decade or so. But I've always said the school has too much $$ and too much great talent in-state not to be a top program. I thought they would get mopped in the SEC but am happy they won today. It's nice to show the country that Texas football talent reigns supreme.

Oregon and K-State definitely have the inside track to the BCS right now. Notre Dame, especially after last week's near-disaster, are unlikely to be able to catch either in the polls. K-State still has Texas; Notre Dame still has USC; Oregon has all sorts of games (Oregon State, Stanford, Pac12 championship). Notre Dame's only remaining "big" win would be against a USC team that would end with 5 losses if Oregon also wins out. So there doesn't seem to be any way Notre Dame can gain any ground in the computers either.
No hurt at all. Lets be honest, this is not the type of W A&M gets under the Sherminator. I didn't care who won but as the game progressed I was impressed by Sumiln and Johnny Auschwitz. If anything this pleases me in that it might precipitate the ousting of f-cking Grandpa Simpson in Belmont.
Kevin Sumlin is a great coach. Would have gotten UH into the Bcs last year if he didn't announce his departure right before the game
