I think rhino is a CU alum, but the sentiment remains. Our (Aggie) defense looks out of this world, and on par with the best in the country. The offense took a huge blow today with the loss of King, but I'm hoping and expecting that they cycle in more plays that have the Hydra (Spiller, Smith, Achane) on the field together. There aren't many defenses that can account for the skillset those 3 bring at the same time. TexAgs is the internet embodiment of every single cringey Aggie stereotype isolated and bred in captivity, then released back into society.
Still don't know why we gave Fisher an extension. Even if you have a backup QB, it's still MS State. This was not a game you should have lost.
This next month if things fall right for UT could tip things back for recruiting out of A&M. "TU" coming for you lol
Lots of mistakes being made by a young group, but to me, this is still all because of just 1 guy (the QB). If we had a semi-decent option we'd be undefeated still. But not real contenders. To not have a better choice at backup QB is pretty sad though.
It's already happening. Texas already has a top 5 recruiting class for next season and they haven't even gotten their top targets. Texas just has a natural advantage in that regard.
Texas has been out of the top 20 only once(2017 which was the transition year between Strong and Herman) in the last forever. Most years they are in the top 10. Texas has a natural advantage in recruiting just because it's Texas and Austin.
According to Rivals they have a top 5 class currently. It seems to be a bit early though. UT has 1 single top 80 recruit. So they will drop a bunch if they dont get any of those guys. If they beat OU or if they lose to OU and win all their remaining games along with perhaps Robinson getting a lot of good press they could close quite strong.
