Johnny Manziel and Case Keenum weren't Johnny Manziel and Case Keenum before they played under Sumlin.

Until Sumlin cares about defense, hard to see A&M doing anything spectacular. They'll put up points, though they'll miss Manziel and Evans, but if they can't stop anybody like last year it won't matter.

Seems like another 8-4 kind of season for them, IMO.

How does Sumlin not care about defense? He has made it a priority to recruit on that side of the ball. One bad season of defense does not mean the defense will always be bad. All it needs is to be average (top 50) and the Ags are competing for 9+ wins.

Piland was thrust into the role way too soon because Kennum got injured and is the only QB of Sumlin's that didnt play up to standards expected out of his offense. I actually have a lot of confidence in Kenny Hill for no other reason than Art Briles also wanted him and the mobile QBs he prefers have all turned out really well (RGIII, Keenum, Petty).

I hope TAMU wins but College Station loses. And SC sends back some oysters and beer.

I don't believe I have SEC network on my tier, but it's working on my phone.

    Jesus Christ South Carolina...

What an embarrassing start on defense. Wide open dude after wide open dude. LOL.

    Solid start for Kenny Hill.

Great start! Making it look easy on the scoring drive, to take some of the wind out of the stadium.

So nice to see football back!

Bro it is sarcasm. Obviously hard to convey on a message board. College Station is is easily the better city to live in compared to Austin.

Well the good news for me is now I know Auburn is going to obliterate South Carolina come October. They couldn't look any worse. Missing every tackle!

I don't think people understood how important Clowney was to their defense.

Are the gamecocks overrated or were the Aggies underrated?

I'm going with the latter (especially b/c of this QB)
