Fire Sherman and hire Chad Morris, current offensive coordinator at Clemson and A&M alum w/ many long-standing ties in the TX HS football community. He's arguably college football's most promising young offensive mind, and A&M's his dream job.
Only if that means Boyd and Watkins come with him. Not saying he is not good, but that team has offensive talent that we haven't seen at A&M in awhile.
That would be nuts. He was at Lake Travis HS less than 2 years ago (was Garret Gilbert's coach). To go from that to where he is just now is impressive. Might be a bit of stretch to say he's ready to take over a program going into it's first season in the SEC.
I don't think they're gonna buy him out when they're paying relocation fees and still paying back the university.

Buyout is 'supposedly' too much, if he even has one. No one has the got damn info of his contract. President just came out this week supporting him. I think its safe to say he'll be here another year, perhaps two. **** Sherman. Fire all of them sonsabitches. Only one can wish he resigns or takes his "talents" back to the NFL.
He has been a bad hire, he is just not head coach material, Urban Meyer would be great for you guys, heck Mike Leach would be better. DD

The funny thing is that if Kubiak failed for the Texans I think he would be a great A&M coach.... Now though, it is going to be tough, got to spend some of that new SEC $$$ to get rid of Sherman, he is horrible. DD

I hear all this talk about his buyout being too high. Isn't his contract available through FOIA request? Or actually, isn't his contract here: http://www.coacheshotseat.com/CHSTexasAM.pdf I'm sure I'm not the first one to find it..So why is there so much confusion over his buyout? If he really does have a high buyout, that's on A&Ms administration to give him that kind of reassurance after 3 mediocre seasons and 1 cotton bowl. Surprising if that's true.
He got a contract extension and/or pay raise or some **** he didnt deserve this past July. Reportedly 8-10 million buyout or something like, I have no idea, nothing real firm to back that up.
