SHSU put up 240 yards rushing last week, as well. A&M's best chance was to get out big early (which they did) and continue to build on it (which they didn't). The Ags can certainly still win this game with their offense, but I'll be surprised if Bama doesn't just run them into the ground in the second half.
Like other UT alums said, we're in no position to talk smack. Stay humble and enjoy this game for what it is. UT has no relevance to it. I wish both teams could lose, but at least it's entertainment.

At the end of the day both of our seasons are over. Cannot wait until the playoff system takes effect. Bowl system is horrible.
Not really. A&M losing to #1 Bama will drop them to around #10. The season is still young. They win out, they'll end up in a BCS bowl, especially with SEC bias. UT has no shot of it.
Does anyone know why A&M's defense has dropped off this much? That was a good stop, but I don't remember then giving up so many points last year.
Congrats on attending UT. That being said, let people talk smack. That's what makes sports fun. Right now being a Longhorn fan is difficult (I'm a huge fan), but I'm not going to let our bad team get me down. Just have fun with it.
