I know you guys may be joking, but I honestly think this is true. There is no reason why an SEC defense should ever let an FCS team put up 28 pts in 3 quarters...at home...against a qb that only attempted 15 passes Good luck against 'Bama, Sumlin
At least 4 of our starting defensive players are out. I know it'll be odd seeing them start their first game of the season against Bama, but you shouldn't judge the defense on the past 2 games.
I'm actually not joking and said right after Sumlin was hired A&M's defense would slide during his tenure. That said, Alabama's offense did not look good at all against VaTech. Would not shock me if A&M beats them again.
Last year, the Aggies beat SHSU 47-28...and somehow still managed to beat Alabama. Tonight, we were without Everett and Hall for the first half in addition to Jenkins, Obioha, Harris and Raven. All of them are expected back for the Bama game. I expect that getting those guys back and healthy will make a huge difference. The Aggies may very well lose next week, but I expect a close game.
Raven is not expected back next week and may be out for the season if rumors are accurate about a broken collar bone... Huge loss for the D right there if true
Yeah, I saw that this morning. Big loss. Looks like Everett may move to FS and one of the youngsters will have to step up at DB. Having Harris back at CB will be huge.
just making Aggie fans aware -- I will be there in person for the Aggie/Bama game. Stop by and say hello
I really do wonder if you are being serious about people letting know who you are in real person. If true , I take back the statement.
Yez I am ur fatha , I ain't no Englesh Majar . I did accounting so dat I can bus' ur azz with ur incum tazes.
People that barely know me are walking up to me at work (in California) telling me how Alabama is going to crush Johnny and the Ags. We better win, or it's gonna be a long week next week!
In A&M's defense, SHSU has been the highest scoring offense in FCS for several years now. They averaged over 40 points a game last year. And the gap between FBS and FCS is slowly getting smaller as we saw in Week 1. That said, once A&M started rolling in the 3rd quarter, we just couldn't keep up.
Alabama is hugely overrated. They are going to get beat AGAIN. The Aggie defense will be much improved, and the offense will roll. It is not going to be as close as last time.
