51. Jeff Allen, G 2015 team: Kansas City Chiefs Allen turned his play around in 2015 to earn the first positive run- and pass-blocking grades of his career. However, which player is he going to be going forward: the one who graded negatively in his first three seasons, or the one who graded well in limited time in 2015? https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2016/02/15/pro-pffs-top-75-free-agents-of-2016/
Will repost--on rotoworld, they said "Allen is the poor man's version of Kelechi Osemele as someone capable of playing both guard and tackle. Unlike Osemele, however, Allen probably isn't an option at left tackle, and that will keep his price within reason." I would definitely take a poor man's Osemele on this line + a draft pick or 2

Quick turnaround from Brooks leaving. Not as good, but will definitely step in and help. Good signing.
So the draft is now a total wildcard. OL, DL, LB, S, WR... Could justify taking any of them in the first 3 rounds with QB as a wildcard.
This is a really good signing. If he plays up to last years performance.... he is better than BROOKS. Draft 2 lineman in the draft and work them up. I'm more worried about Duane Brown recovering than anything else. Losing Jones was nothing, he is easily replaceable. Texans showed balls today and did some homework.
Don't think QB is in the cards, team just gave one a $37MM guarantee. It opens up tons of options though.

Seems like a strange question to ask. I guess the fear of a contract year is there (although strange for an OL), but I would think it is pretty usual for an OL to get better as his career progresses. His most recent year being his best one is a good sign, IMO.

I expect OL and defense to dominate the draft with the other big target being a WR that can be a special teams stud. Ideally they could get an offensive tackle that could take over for Newton or Duane next year. Jack Conklin is a name to watch for the Texans to draft in the first.
