Not good news of course, especially since our 2nd RB seems to like putting the ball on the ground.

We are ****ed if Schaub goes down. Dan O was pathetic at best. Booty was fine in the final drive, but was abysmal before that.

He was far from horrible. He managed the game and he didn't, our lead didn't disappear until Booty came in. Any ways you can say that for most teams, most teams are screwed if the starting QB goes down unless it's a defensive oriented team.

I don't care about the lead, it was 3rd string players in the game. Neither QB has any accuracy or arm strength.

What I meant to say was Dan O didn't lose this game, so far from being horrible. He did just fine, all you want your backup QB to do is keep possession and give your team a chance. If I recall, He actually led the team down the field for two FG opportunities.

He's a backup QB, as long as he's not asked to do too much he should be fine.

The guy did not show me anything new from last season. He still stares down receivers, lobs the ball around the field, and can't hit his targets. Him playing against a first string defense will lose games.

stop wetting your panties when someone says something negative about the team, this is a place to discuss the game, get over yourself

Orlovsky had the 85 yard drive that ended in the the Slaton fumble on the 1.

@McClain_on_NFL: I think RB Ben Tate, the second-round pick from Auburn, is done for the year because of a broken ankle. We'll find out Sunday.

Well, if McClain says it's broken, I'm inclined to think it's a sprain.

His timing looked slow on some throws but he did a good job in throwing the ball away if the throw wasn't there. I was surprised how well he looked actually, especially compared to last year. He didn't make any big mistakes and he ran the offense well. I'll take that from the backup any day.

I would have done the same thing. The last thing I want to do in a preseason game is go into overtime. Kicking a field goal in a preseason game isn't exactly the best gauge of "pressure kicks" anyways. Everyone is well aware that these games don't count.

Its "pressure" for the two competing kickers for sure. In fact, when you have two kickers competing for the one job, you cant pick a more pressure situation than Rackers, kicking a 50+ yarder with no time left at the end of the game...against the team he played for last season.
