We are absolutely hopeless with Carr. We should just run the ball until they stop it, HELL we cant do any worse.
This game is turning out to be everything it was expected to be ... A very mediocre offense and a good defense versus a great defense and an absolutely horrible offense == ugly game.
Of course it would. People that have been following a team for 40 years aren't going to suddenly start following a different one. No one suddenly became Bucks fans when TJ Ford went there.
I agree. I can't criticize folks who just can't get into this team for whatever reason. I'm into them because I love Houston and, bad decisions notwithstanding, their jersey says "Houston" on it. Not that I look down on anyone who doesn't feel that way, it's just a thing with me.
Just to clarify - that's not to say they wouldn't have followed or rooted for Vince. It's just that people wouldn't turn on the Texans or root against them.
But if it was VINCE YOUNG? if you want to discuss this, take it to that other thread. i'd like to discuss how crappy the Texans are playing today.
Or, as soon as this team finally starts winning... then, like the Astros fans, people will be claiming to be "lifelong Texans fan sufferers."
I think the refs should confer and cancel the rest of this game due to a lack of interest and also prevent cruel and unusual punishment. LOL. God, Carr is sucking hard today. LOL.
But at the same time, they're rooting for a team that left Houston due to an ******* owner, which is something that is hugely frowned upon. Baltimore fans hated the Colts for a while after they left town, and Cleveland fans still utterly despise the Ravens and Art Modell, even though they got a team back. If VY had gone to, say, the Cardinals or Raiders, nobody would have much of a problem with UT fans cheering for those teams. But they're cheering for a hated team owned by the most hated man in Houston, and you just don't do that.
One question about the game. Why the hell are they showing the Raiders Offensive coordinator so much!? He's been on my tv like 10 times now. oh...and he missed another FG....hahahahhaha Great play by Dameco
