I feel the same. I don't know if your post was aimed at me Finn, but I didn't mean to give the impression that I had already counted the game as a loss. I think we can win any game too, they are all pros. It will be tough to stop Williams though is what I was saying, real tough. I think 6 wins for us is possible this season, and that's great as a second year team.

I'm just hoping Andre Johnson puts on a show in front of his hometown. The Texans had trouble stopping the run in preseason, so I shudder to think what Ricky is gonna do with 30+ carries.

The key is obviously Ricky, Fiedler is not a good qb. Yes he has a good record but he does not have an arm at all. I say our corners play tight and we stack the line against the run and dare Fiedler to throw deep. I think thats the best chance Houston has.
    Houston 21
    Miami 20

I'm a realist. I can't help it, but I always look at the facts when I am making predictions. Most people don't like it, they want everyone to be a blind homer fan that expects a win out of every game, but I am just not built that way. And the fact is, the Texans are undefeated on opening day, so we are obviously going to win today.

    ;)

I'm already impressed with Chester Pitts. This guy was a hell of a pick. Hopefully he can keep it up. The helmet thing was stupid, but that's a youth kind of mistake. What was important was that he had Taylor completely locked up on that play.

    So far, so good.

our defense is doing a good job...and here's the shocker....

our o-line did a great job!!

Lets hope they can keep it up...looks like the guys came to play today!:D

and btw...what a play from Carr...but I dont think he had the second foot in..but..man, I didnt expect that at all!

If they can keep this up, i would say that the rumors of the easy defeat at the hands of Miami are definitely premature..

    Raven,

Yeah, they missed the facemask on Taylor before whistling Pitts.

Ok... critical drive here... start of the second quarter, and damn good field position.

Damn what's up with my Dolphins, They are looking horrible out there. It's fine though, if they lose to any team, I'd prefer it to be the Texans.Texans are my second favorite team.

    you gotta love it baby!

that trick play really got me fired up, even though it went incomplete. I remember Elway doing the same thing in SB 22.

Damnit, Kris! Can't be missing FGs like that in a game like this. We need every single point. I have a feeling the Dolphins are going to come out strong in the 2nd half.

Texans looks great except for the false starts. But they to put some points on the board its just a matter of time before Rickey starts to bust some big runs.

Who the hell was that that didn't make that tackle?! That was some of the worst **** I have ever seen!

Edit: Of course. It had to be Matt Stevens. This guy is the biggest joke in the league.
