Once again... whatever they do the rest of the season IS GRAVY!!! Dolphins were BY FAR the best team the Texans have ever played (on the road), and they WON!!!!!
Did anyone else have visions of Ian Holfield vs. the Redskins in 1992 when Kris Brown lined up to kick that FG? Damn am I glad they won that game.
Good: Dolphins fail to gain any divisional ground on the Chowdah Heads. Bad: NFL Suicide, one week, one death. /
Good job, you guys. You are really showing the NFL how good you are. Keep it up...except against the Cowboys.
Muwahaha... I would like to take this time to re-read every comment on the first page Dooming the Texans... EAT IT! WHOOOO!!!
The good news for you. The boys dont have to face us in the regular season for a while, no? cause when they do....booyaa! note: I didnt say one word about nineteen....
Thank goodness Stevens made that play at the end. That short kick was freakin terrible! Nearly cost us the win there. That was a hell of a game though! Great win!
Hey man, I was talking about the Super Bowl for this year. We'll both get there this year. Then we'll win by like 1...or 19-10. Thanks for not rubbing it in.
That play by Stevens at the end wasn't such a big deal. Assume the WR catches the ball, it is almost a certainty that the 2 defenders will tackle him short of the goal line. The clock will run out before the Dolphins can huddle up and get a snap off.
Our offense was awesome today. We didn't allow any sacks the whole game. Andre Johnson and Jabar Gafney looked good, and Davis came off the bench to provide a spark. Mack was solid. Stevens?? Well at least he knocked down the long ball late in the game, but overall our D was decent. great win
Is there anybody else that thinks that Wannstedt is a terrible head coach? I know Norv Turner has an excellent reputation... but I thought the Texans won this game for two reasons: 1. David Carr is better than Jay Fiedler. and 2. The Texans playcalling was much better. Our passing game was so much more effective than the running game. But the coaches seemed to know just how much they had to call a run to keep the Miami defense honest. Miami's playcalling seemed bizarre. IMO, just as the Texans had to establish the run so they could pass... the Dolphins had it the other way around. And they failed miserably. They had a lot of luck with playaction for a while because of the threat of Williams. But then, for no reason, they decided to become a passing team. What the hell? Jay Fiedler is your QB. Great win. But I shake my head that Wannstedt is still a head coach.
I'd just like to thank Mr. Bob McNair. After being a committed Dallas Cowboy fan by accident of birth I was freed today from their pomposity forever by the class of the Houston Texans Inc. Games like that are what was great about being a Cowboy fan in the Landry and Jimmy Johnson years. Enjoy Houston!
