ARRGH! BRadford has to make that catch! Carr should have thrown it away on the previous play, but he laid it right into Bradford perfectly.
... MOTHER ****ING COREY BRADFORD YOU HAD THAT IN YOUR MOTHER****ING HANDS HOW DO YOU DROP THAT **** MOTHER ****ING PEICE OF TRASH YOU **** w**** MOTHER****ER!!!!!!!!
Am I the ONLY ONE who thought Bradford had that one Corey you sorry sad sack of sh*t!!!!!! Carr put it there. . . I will give him that Bradford is . .. GOD!!!! I cannot beleive this **** I like Carr's Aggressiveness. . . I know the throw to Andre was better easier . .. but man . .that ball was THERE!!! Rocket River
I really don't mind if we lose anymore this season, just prove that we can compete and accept that we arent going anywhere; try to get a high pick.
Ouch this game hurt, but at least we moved the ball better this week and the Texans covered the spread.
Agreed.... I know Andre was open, but Bradford was open too... and had a decent shot at a TD right there (nothing was guaranteed with AJ's possible 12 yard gain). Carr had a decent game... and it probably would have been better had Wand not had to come in.
Andre was wide open, but bradford should have caught that. Walker was yelling at everyone around him.
The good news is that Carr looked very good today. Sure he had a couple of gaffes but 22-30 is exceptional with this o-line. Gary Walker and Seth Payne (minus the holding penalty) were beasts today on the d-line. They kept up in this game. To hang in there with Jacksonville while we were playing without Dominick Davis, our top offensive performer, and Jerome Mathis, our top special teams performer, is a good showing. Plus, we are a game closer to getting D'Brickashaw.
Good...they Lost!!!! I WANT THEM TO LOSE!!! That means a very very high draft pick and maybe McNair can grow a sack and fire Casserly and Capers and bring someone in who knows talent when they see it. Also, dump Wand...please. That SOB can't block at all...he absolutely stinks. So does Bradford...he's terrible.....absoutely terrible. Carr laid that ball in your damn hands man!!!
I disagree. Carr had a OK game statistics wise, but it was still the same ol' story. Either holding onto the ball too long or making poor decisions like sliding down to the ground instead of throing it away when he's outside the tackle box. I don't know if Carr is happy with his preformance, because it was a little better by his standards this year (which is still not very good), but he failed to make plays when they counted. Carr had lots of time to throw today until mabye the last drive of the game when Wand just got b****'d, and his recievers were getting open.
Hopefully Bradfords 1 decent TD won't impress the Texans "brain" trust too much. He's been dead weight since we were an expansion club, and its time to cut bait.
I agree and I wonder if Carr is trying to dress up his statistics by not throwing the ball away when he should. Too often he takes off with nowhere to go or holds on to the ball forever. He doesn't seem to have a very good pocket presence and I can't remember the last time he stepped up in the pocket to avoid pressure and deliver a pass. How many times is the ball going to get batted out of his throwing hand before he starts stepping up in the pocket! Man...
I think both he and Carr were tearing Bradford a new one, but it was hard to tell. Pathetic drop. I don't think you can fault Carr for passing up AJ. He went with a lower percentage throw, but he laid it perfectly in front of Bradford and should have had them on the 4. Passing to Johnson would have kept them 30-some yards out with 45 seconds left, and the clock would have been running (middle of the field). Evan
Carr had one of his better games today, I was somewhat impressed. But he still needs to not fumble the ball when he gets sacked and he needs to learn how to throw the ball away when its time.
What could be fascinating draft wise is if it's Texans are #1 and the Titans are #2. That could change everything strategy wise. It may force the Texans to take a qb. Because you know Chow would want one.
Good thing we lost coz our closest competition (NO, GB, Bal, NYJ, AZ, & SF) also lost. We can count on three more losses (Ind, KC and STL) but then its gonna get a bit hairy. BAL on the road any other year would be an automatic loss but this year it's questionable. If the Titans play like they did before then we're gonna loose. By then, god willing, we should be 1-12. The last three games is what scares me coz we have ARZ and JAX at home and SF on the road. Capers is stupid enough 2 win all those three thus negating us a chance at the #1 pick. Hopefully we sit out Andre, Duante, Dominick, Carr, and Walker(He's been getting to many sacks)
This is the post of the year in terms of the Texans. Classic I say at best they win 2 more games. I think that usually gets the job done at getting the first pick. I see a win over the niners and they will have another chance like they did today they might mess it up and actually pull it out
