The D has looked real good, the offense has put them in bad situations on both Bronco scoring drives. Mario has been silent tho.

Okay, I am no Carr apologist, but what am I missing (I'm only looking at stats)? Carr is 9/12 with a pick. 9/12 is pretty good.

I really hated the decision to spike it on 3rd down at the end. I certainly hope they would take a shot at the endzone in the regular season.

Who gets the ball at the beginning of the 3rd?

But virtually all his passes have been to Wali Lundy for about 5 yards.

Nine completions with only 54 yards is beyond pathetic. And that was what we saw last year... every game. I'm a homer and a half, but this is getting old. I still have hope, though. I'm hoping Kubiak can make something of the kid.

If this is the best Carr can play then he has no business in the league. He did not target a receiver until the last drive. How you go most of the half without even attempting to throw to a receiver is beyond me.

Carr has zero pocket prescence; he checks down to his safety valve before he should. Perfect example on the int, he dumped it to a back that wasn't looking for the ball AND he had a defender hanging on him when it was thrown. When you throw to a running back every time you ought to be 9/12. You will never win a singlye game but you might lead the league in completion percentage.

i'm going to head out on a limb here. David Carr sucks. He has no ability to look downfield. he still stares down his receiver. Thank God Vince Young is not tearing it up yet.

I forgot all about this, I have been a member there forever, this site ROCKS....only like $3 a month to watch ANY sporting event from your PC.

When the Rockets are blacked out here in Austin, usually playing San Antonio, I still get to watch.

I think four years of getting his ass sacked regularly has the boy hearing footsteps. Happy feet. Gunshy about doing anything but getting out of the line of fire. He may be soiled permanently.

Which is EXACTLY why you take Vince Young.

misleading. about 3/4 of his completions are check downs. that isn't very encouraging. as a matter of fact, that seems to be his primary option. he doesn't seem to have very good vision out there. :(

Yeah DD...and the quality is very good...watching the game at 400kbps
And very cheap if you ask me for what you get. Especially someone like me outside of the states who does not have access to the games otherwise.

Keep a lookout for a new IPTV PTP software coming up on Sept 1st
    www.cybertelly.com

Basically anyone with a Tv card on his PC can stream live tv shows.
This is huge! Anyone in Houston will be able to retransmit Rockets, Texans, Astros games to us who aren't as lucky to live in Houston.

Hopefully we can set this up for the upcoming season.

I totally agree. I can't see the game (my NFL Network is not working; thanks DISH Network) and as a result, I don't see the intangibles.
