John McClain might be a fat, dumb, lazy, disgusting excuse for a human being but he doesn't take any crap from coaches or players. That is a redeemable quality.
Ronnie's numbers do suck, but he also was playing behind a line that leaking every running attempt. He is great in pass protection. That is why he is on the team.
Actually one positive thing you can say about Ronnie Brown is that he's definitely the best pass-blocking RB on the roster. I think that may play a significant role as well. I'm guessing Denham gets cut after letting the punt get blocked yesterday.

Does anybody watch the O'Brien press conferences on houstontexans.com? If so, does the screen go blank on you? I don't watch every press conference but the few that I have watched over the last couple of weeks the screen goes blank as soon as O'Brien walks to the microphone. I can hear the audio but there's no picture. Just wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this problem.
I dont see us picking up a QB on waivers just because they would never play... they would be so far behind all the other QBs as far as knowing the system and once the season starts the coaches dont have time to be teaching the basics. and dont say Mallet because if B.O.B had any faith in him at all he would have already made a move for him... just because he has played for him before doesn't mean B.O.B thought he was any good.
