Yup. He'll be gone at the end of the year. Too much money to pay out to a RB these days. Especially with Watt's monster deal coming.

He answered the questions. Those are actually excellent answers to meaningless questions. "I'm feeling good" should be the only thing you should be interested in hearing him say anyway.

He averaged 4.40 yards per carry in 2011 (facing loaded boxes... Especially when Yates was the QB and he had games with Jacoby and Walter as the 1 & 2 WR's... Lolzzzzzz...)...
He averaged 4.06 ypc in 2012 (1st year with a weak offensive line and Foster will "slip" before he will take a big hit)...
He averaged 4.48 ypc in 2013 (when he did play)...

I disagree with your opinion because it may just be more about him staying healthy and getting better blocking... But if you're right Texans fans better pay closer attention to college football this year.

I'm just happy the Texans have Fitz over Schaub. Schaub is looking like he'll be out of the league in a year.

The way Baltimore's offense looks, and how bad Schaub has played, maybe the Texans falling off last year had more to do with QB play than opposing defenses figuring out Kubiak.

I've been saying this for the past year.

It was time for him to go really, it's not that he's a bad offensive coordinator, but he clearly lost the locker room and he's not head coach material. There isn't one reason for why last year was the disaster it was, it was a combination of reasons.

Yeah. I'm definitely not saying we should have kept him around.

Could Carr be the first rookie QB to win a starter job this season?

Schaub just doesn't do anything good at all anymore.

I think Bortles has it locked in already. Still not convinced he will be great, but I think he could be the nest QB Jacksonville has had in a while.

Could have Bortles, Bridgewater, Carr, and Manziel starting by mid-season though.

Well they've said all along that Henne will at least start out as the starter in Jacksonville, but I would agree that Bortles is the best QB there so he probably takes over before mid-season.

Bridgewater still has Matt Cassel firmly ahead of him on the depth chart and I'm not sure that's going to change any time soon

The Browns QB situation is a nightmare, I could see Manziel ending up QB but Connor Shaw might actually be the best QB on that team.

Carr has to fight off Schaub and McGloin though he's technically 2nd on the depth chart.

He was very impressive the other night. Would be interesting if he or Hoyer would become available.

If we're talking about PAST this year, then there's no question that Arian is gone. I was simply saying that I think he's going to thrive in BOB's system this year.

Texans should offer the Jets a 6th for Vick.

Why? We don't need another bench player.

Well, he'd be the one who starts and doesn't completely suck.

Hate to break it to you, but Vick completely sucks and he can't stay healthy, he snaps like a twig anytime someone hits him.

Does anyone know if we reached out to Oakland earlier to try and nab McGloin? Was there any news on that?

Raiders may end up cutting Schaub and going with McGloin until Carr is ready to take over. At least I would if I were the Raiders.

That's kind of a big cap hit though....not really big for a QB, but do you just want to eat an 8 million dollar cap hit like that for no reason?
