You got 6 years out of a starting LT and then traded him for a 2, 3 and 7th. The trade was fine.

    So what happens.
I suspect they will make Washington forfeit all draft picks and KC will have to give 100 posters signed by Pat Mahomes and Jake from State Farm

After listening today, I think I had him pegged right. A career minor league QB for Dallas who never played a down in the big leagues tells the Texans what they're doing WRONG one day after saying they FINALLY did something right. They want them to spend a gazillion dollars because they freed up a Million.

...but they didn't get my favorite 35 year old! Booh Hooh.

Better than wasting another year waiting for the highly paid line to find more ways to SUCK.

Agreed - which is why I said at least they ripped the bandage off.

The Texans in the past would have just continued down the same path.

I think being critical of the failures in the draft on the line is fair - but I also believe that them making changes long term gives them hope as long as they can keep Stroud in one piece.

If they mean toxic in the sense of setting a bad precedent by being lazy, not demonstrating a strong work ethic, or failing to contribute to the culture and attitude they are trying to build, then I am all for calling it toxic.

It should be...especially if you want to be a winning team. Don't want any of that sht permeating around the locker room.

Exactly. I doubt it was toxic at all from the linemen's perspective. They were perfectly happy being shitty run-blockers, missing stunts, and getting penalties. As long as the PFF pass-blocking grade was OK and their fashion game was on point, all was OK. And if that wasn't OK, it was someone else's fault.

But they seemed perfectly content with the situation.

There’s been some interesting reactions to DJ Bien Ame’s ESPN article from some local pundits. Cody, Landry and Gallant said in essence that his sources are basically LT and Tytus and DJ may have had a one sided perspective in the article. Like maybe he got a little too close to both of them and hasn’t been entirely objective.

Seems to me the DJ's high or he's got a bad cold. Maybe he had a reaction to his cold medicine.

From day one, Demeco has emphasized the mentality he wants for this team, SWARM- Special Work Ethic and Relentless Mindset. (To him, work ethic is one word, or maybe the 'ethic' is silent.) A relentless pursuit and aggression, which is far from Tunsil’s approach to the game. While money would have eventually become an issue, I doubt it was the deciding factor. It just made the decision easier. Anyone saying that is the main or only reason has not been listening to Demeco or watching the Texans.
