Draft a field stretcher like Dont'e Thornton in the 5th rd as a field stretching developmental project. He's got talent, (hands, speed) he just needs how to run a full route tree. This year start him out with running flyy's, back shoulders , posts.
I'm still on the Donovan Jackson in rd 1 and hopefully Jalen Royals falls to 3-89. If not then give me Taj Felton/Isiah Bond/Savion Williams or Tory Horton in rds 3-4. Best case Rd.1 Donovan Jackson OSU Rd. 2 Mason Taylor TE LSU Rd.3 Darius Alexander DT Toledo Rd. 4 Taj Felton WR Maryland
LOL, not always, my expectations for Stroud were WAY too high this season. Like, unfair expectations.
This was a solid move and love taken candy from the Jags. Kirk needs to rebound injury wise, but if he stays healthy he may have a new home and be our main slot for the foreseeable future. Easy to give a future 7th for that chance. And YES WE DID SOMETHING!!
I'll be happy if he stays healthy. I'm sure he'll make some sort of positive impact..still would like an outside z wr lined opposite of Nico.
Only because you believe in him brother! I think CJ's biggest problem was trying to make plays that weren't there which led to mistakes and taking unnecessary hits. An improved OL, playmakers at WR and a better OC will fix most of that.
I like it too. My only concern is how his salary affects who we can sign in free agency. Maybe someone here can explain it.
Like most QB's he got hit a bunch and got a case of the yips. Gotta fix the OL and that includes the TE position.
They will have to cut Mason and Autry to free up another 18.5 mil if they want to sign a few more guys in FA. They also may restructure Hunter or Tunsil and they could make more room by cutting Howard if they needed even more cap space.
