    Uhh Odell Beckham?

Amari Cooper got a #1 and Hopkins is levels better than he is.

Cooper was traded on a Rookie deal. Beckham...Cleveland...nuff said. However, Beckham had signed a new contract and was not asking new money. Hopkins was asking for $20 million with 3 years left on his contract. Makes a HUGE difference.

DHop got paid. Likely his plan all along to not only get paid but to stuck it to former team. Making sure his demands for more money is up front so any trade will be hurt.

Don't matter to him and you can tell he absolutely did not like Bob, which was his choice. Almost all the people here hate him and want him fired.

The trade was bad for many reasons and one is him.

So Nuk got 2 years more to the existing deal and basically 6Ms more per season.

Didnt we just sign Father Time Randall Cobb to 9Ms per year???

Are you Serious? Cobb will cost the Texans $18 million over 2 seasons. Hopkins will cost ATLEAST $42 million, possible $54 million over 2 season....at 31 and 32 years old.

You really think Scrooge McDuck, I mean Bill OBrien is NOT going to give his boy Cobb that 3rd year going into his what age 33 season??? LMAO. You're a funny guy.

How many All Pro/Pro bowl teams has Cobb made? ONE (pro bowl). SMH.

Watch Blacklock over the next three years if you want to feel much better about this trade.

Still a sht trade. If this player overperform chalk it up 2 drafting a steal with the sht return we got from hopkins, a hall of fame type player.

This isnt the nba where we can afford to trade players with talent for jack sht.

Blackrock is one man on an aging shtty defense. Lets hope david johnson doesnt decline as fast, since rb dont last long in the league. Meanwhile hopkins gonna b doing great things like he always does. Yea feel better about the sht trade already pffft.

Hate to tell you, BoB is not going give him money unless the production is there. Cobb is not “his boy”, he is a player to make surely they have depth at WR.

Have u looked at the Texans’ D? They are not aging. Remove JJ and Mercilus from the Equation, they are very young.

Blacklock is going to help turn a defensive weakness into a strength one he gets some experience. Give me a better defense and more speed at WR like Cooks and a difference making interior pass rusher this team has been lacking for years over Nuk and his bloated contract at yrs 32-33 old.

BTW, How does Nuk's nuts taste.

Regardless of how Hopkins does in Arizona (with less talent around him) I cannot imagine a world where Johnson and Blacklock collectively outperform him as a hypothetical Texan in 2020+2021.

For a team in "win now mode" (which the Texans have absolutely been 100% in since the Tunsil deal) this trade was shoe-on-head levels of stupid.

Texans Wire has an article on the trade that came out yesterday. It should be required reading for all that want to discuss this trade. Sorry I cant link it from my phone.

I am a texans homer through and through but even that has its limits. How can you trade the best wr in the game and not get a first. They should have gotten a first and a third for hopkins and a second for taking Johnsons contact pure and simple.

I guess you didn't pay attention to the contract he signed? That's why. No one was giving a #1 for the HONOR of signing Hopkins to THAT contract. That's why teams dropped out of the bidding.

A bunch of what if vs a known product. Delusional.

Its not about missing nuk, its about delusional fktards like u defending a sht tradewith a bunch of what ifs. Hell 5 year down the line am confident hopkins will still b producing, blacklock and johnson not so much.

Literally arguing about a known product vs a meh running back + rookie (bust potential is always there).
