Some crazy b*stard needs to find the time to got through the 100 pages and find all of the "just a possession receiver", "DJ is looking good again", etc... posts.

We shamed them then, they deserve extra shame now.

eta: Hopkins high-points the ball better than any receiver I've seen in a long time.

We need to hire Bob back so we can fire him again. 1 firing is not enough for a blunder like this

Probably the best since, ironically, prime Larry Fitzgerald.

Agreed, but you could say that about a lot of players.

With Hopkins, you don't really ever have to add that caveat, he almost never misses games.

    Shitty practice player tho.

The biggest problem now is that Rasputin **** tearing up the organization piece by piece from the top down.

He may masquerade as a "Christian man", a "family man", "a man of faith", but there is a special place in hell for Jack Easterby.

It's terrifying with him in the front office.

It's too early for me to read into things, so I'm not sure how you meant your post.

To be clear I was saying Hop is awesome, and the b.o.b. nonsense about him not practicing is literally r****ded - he missed 1 game in O'Briens entire tenure.

Meanwhile b.o.b. loved players who practiced all the time and missed a ton of games. It's moronic.

Cooks is solid though, definitely glad we didn't trade him.

I kind of want the Texans to hire BOB back today just so they can fire him again immediately.

It's painful watching this everywhere you turn. He should have retired a Texan and had his jersey hanging in the stadium

As a side note it's not being mentioned the play that Murray made. Extremely impressive under duress

I still can't ****ing believe it. I'm sure Murray will develop into a better QB once Hopkins leaves/retires. He's too reliant on a WR that is among the very best in the game, and their offense would really open up if they just brought in some 2nd and 3rd tier talent at the WR position.

    Un****ingbelievable.

I'll never get past the anger part of the steps of grief!
I also get offended when they say B.O.B was fleeced in the deal making him look like some innocent simpleton. He really thought that by spite trading him, (using heynow terminology) it would make the t-e-a-m better because that's the 'patriots way' of doing things.

I never made *those* arguments - but did argue trading Hopkins had merit. And I think it did. Look, they needed cash relief and they had gutted their draft stock. He was their most valuable asset and could help with both.

The *idea* of trading Hopkins wasn't bad.... No, it was the *execution* that was bad. They dealt one of the 2-3 best WRs in football for pennies on the dollar. I'm flabbergasted how bad they ****ed that trade up.

I'm racking my brain to think of a worse trade in the history of Houston sports.... the only one that comes close is Joe Morgan, unless I'm brainlocking on one? Moses Malone was to clear the deck; Campbell was past his prime.....
