he is already gone. He could have said whatever about Easterby. Maybe his relationship with Easterby was Positive. The only REAL things said about Easterby was from Watson's camp and DeAndre Hopkins' camp. We know WHY in both cases (the many women). Otherwise, no player has said anything...even when they left. SI article is the source of most of this stuff.
I suspect he's worth more than nothing. I thought he showed promise and was at least worth the draft position he was picked at. I'm clearly not an NFL scout, but this deal just reeks to me.
Omenihu is 24 and has shown enough his first two seasons to warrant more than a 2023 6th round pick. You know this.
7 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 24 QB hits in 7 career starts is pretty decent to say the least. Considering he is 24 years old and is making close to nothing…a 6th rounder a year and a half from now is not a good return. No need to insistently defend the franchise’s every move. They are going to win some and lose some. Unfortunately we have doing a lot of the latter lately.
If he is SO productive, why does he have only 7 starts and a number of healthy scratches? Look at his numbers THIS season.
He was clearly in the dog house with Culley and/or Lovie, so they traded him for peanuts. Nothing more, nothing less, imo. There was no reason for those healthy scratches. Dude is 24, and has talent. I think he goes to San Fran and has a decent career.
Good question. Personally I think it has more to do with issues not particularly related to performance. But why would you only look at his numbers this season? You have other data points to work off of, recent ones at that. And if you agree that his production was decent the two previous years, isn’t this the definition of selling low?
There is only two things anyone can control in life , effort and attitude …so my guess is there was a lack
You're right. He's not 6 years older on a 1-year contract for more money as an unproductive Caserio Street FA. He's actually young with possible upside and on a cheap contract. Can't have that. GM'ing 101
