So like I said...I just got here.

That's a massive contract for a CB who is really pretty good but not great.

Gonna trust a rookie at RT?

They could possibly get a guy like Beachum or Watson on a small contract. But there's a decent chance a rookie ends up being the guy.

Yup, that's why he's gotta be good which means he pretty much has to be the first round pick.

I'm just thinking about Tony Romo's shoulders in the hands of an amateur.

    Or a Sua-Filo.

I could see a 2nd rounder too (maybe someone like Moton) but it gets risky after that.

Well, the Broncos just lost their LT, which is even more important than RT so.....

I mean, I'm not saying that I think Romo makes it through a season without getting injured no matter what, but I trust a first round picked RT over a lot of situations including the garbage we put on the field last season.

After Brock was traded, Texans SB odds increased 3x.

The return isn't nominal. Texans' cap space is minimal, and they have needs with signing new players and keeping players.

It's no surprise BoB-Smith survived.... McNair employs them.

Brock could play another season and they'd survive.

Schefter: Browns say they have gotten calls about him.

Polian jumps in: I don't believe that. :D

    Polian killing the Browns.

Why would anyone criticize the Browns for this deal? They bought a second rounder with money they couldn't really spend elsewhere.

BP: So what's the end result? Paid $17M in cash for a 2nd round pick. That draft pick better be Peyton Manning at $17M.

Are we allowed to make fun of a outdated, obsolete, senile, old man?

Polian is terrible. Watching him on that roundtable and I'm not sure he even understood the trade details. Heck, I'm not sure he even knew what he was saying.
