Don't try and go Aggie on the numbers bro. Sam Houston State probably has a better record than UT too.
So according to Ric's post, the Texans are going to offer ticket packages to the Detroit game... I get the novelty of witnessing a Thanksgiving day game, but... who in the hell would willingly go to Detroit?
Wasnt detroit on fox cbs last turkey day? Im pretty sure if you are in houston it will be shown on CBS if not on CH39
Best Thanksgiving EVER! Can't wait to be there to watch TCU beat UT and then to eat some turkey while watching the Texans beat Detroit.
Means absolutely nothing. lol... You actually think TCU has a chance in that game? Homerism aside and being realistic...
I personally think the UT/TCU game will draw better ratings NATIONALLY than the UT/A&M game has in recent years. TCU was the Cinderella story and gained lots of national attention with the Fiesta Bowl/Rose Bowl in back to back years.
They have a hell of a chance. Will they be the favorites? No. But they're going to have a great chance. The offense is returning basically everyone and the defense is going to be towards the top of the Big 12 (not like that's saying much). But, TCU has won at UT and in Norman before (semi-recently) so it's not impossible to think they can do it again with an even better team now.
seriously? i love the Horns, but what have they done in the last couple of seasons that makes you think that TCU can't play a competitive game against them?
In case it wasn't clear, the last number on there is the AP National Ranking: 2008 11-2 #7 2009 12-1 #6 2010 13-0 #2 2011 11-2 #13
Unless both teams are ranked in the top-10, nobody outside of Texas will tune in to see David Ash vs. Casey Pachall. The NFL is a much bigger draw.
