Hey...if he can get a slight undersized QB to have a resurgence year, maybe he can do something with a true undersized QB in the Panthers.
The point I was making is that there some ex-HCs who are looking for OC work. I am unsure of the scheme fit between what Ryans wants and what Reich favors.
If Jerrod Johnson leaves, would Klay Kubiak be a good replacement? Is it possible for the team to have both Kubiak brothers on the coaching staff?
Interesting. I bet that Slowik shows good x and o knowledge but lacks leadership experience commanding a locker room. He's probably not ready yet to be a HC.
Raheem morris went 21-38 over his time as HC of the Bucs and never went to the playoffs. He must be amazing in interviews.
Big difference is the Bucs had two stud WRs in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin (also a decent RB in White) yet still were 20th in points and 23rd in total yards. Panthers owner has a terrible track record so for now this looks like a bad hire to me. Plus Bryce Young is still the QB. He doesn't have that head coach feel, at least not now. Some people just make great coordinators but not so good head coaches. You see this in every industry. Great worker but crap manager (and vice versa)
Still gotta wait and see what happens with the Commanders. The rumor is they're waiting on Ben Johnson but Bobby has already had two interviews so you never know
There's no waiting. Ben Johnson is the going to be the Redskins' HC. He is literally the hottest name coming out this season as future HC. I bet his group already told teams he's going to join the Skins after the playoffs, so they started hiring other coaches...especially the Panthers. Of course that can change if the Seahawks swoops in and get Ben...always that small percent chance. The biggest threat left to hire Slowik was the Falcons, and now that's gone. Slowik isn't ready yet.
