I've always made this point: fans mainline their favorite team and don't pay near as much attention to other teams - but they all do so many of the same things fans complain about. Seriously, go to any Chiefs forum and you'll see endless b****ing about Andy Reid and his play calling, his clock management, etc.

In any given game, there are a dozen or more things fans don't know that teams are trying to avoid, exploit, minimize... It's never as obvious as we often think.

I think he stays one more year and goes to Chicago when Effeibus fails to beat the Packers and doesn’t make the playoffs. His dad coached there when he was a young lad.

I dont know about anybody else, but for me, he just doesnt seem to be a leader as a head coach. He just doesnt have a presence that can command and demand. Best of luck to him if he gets one and decides to take it, but he wont have a CJ and thats 80% of the battle to succeed in this league.

    This.

Leadership goes far beyond Xs & Os. Demeco was a leader on and off the field during his entire career and that has clearly translated to his success as a HC.

Bobby would be a fool to leave this burgeoning juggernaut only to end up getting axed by brainless owners like the Panthers and Titans have.

If Slo' leaves, Johnson takes over. But who do you guys want for your new QBs coach? Keenum? Yates? Big Bad Schaub? Heard he was in town hehehe.

I wish all coaches got the chance to be a head coach BUT, give it some time and get some experience under your belt, you've been a true OC for one season...........plus I selfishly want him back next year

He would get a minimum 4 yr/ $36 million contract. It would be tough to turn down that kind of generational wealth. Besides there is no guarantee that he will be as desired next year…see Mike Kafka.

I'm one of those people who believes he's built a great offense with a very nice structure here. However, I think he still struggles mightily in situational play calling, especially in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. That's where both the ATL and Carolina games were lost, and that's where Indy was able to climb back into the game last week. I'm certainly not his biggest fan, and I firmly believe his play calling is what kept us from clinching the Division earlier than we did. However, I also believe that's an aspect of his resume that he can improve on with another year here....especially with CJ as his QB.

    I agree.
I also believe he feels he has to protect his rookie QB, rightfully so.
