Methinks that is too high for DJ. I see him going 3 or 4 depending on what he does in the combines. He was kinda of quite early in that Rosebowl game. We just have too many holes to feel. Trading down makes sense if no stud or standout is reachable.
I hope Babin is what Capers thinks he can be...we could have used all those picks to get OL help...which we need in the worst way...
Michigan's offensive game plan was centered around controlling DJ. That is why Aaron Harris was free to make just about every important play.
Well, the master of it has been around for 3 years now and has managed to cumulatively generate among the most, if not the most anemic pass rush in the league over that same time period. The funny part is the whole idea of the scheme is that it's supposedly easier to find players that fit it and to pressure the QB than a convetional scheme. Not so far.
another cb would do wonders for this team... if you can get rolle he can possibly push aaron glenn to the nickle since ag is losing it. With rolle and dunta.. assuming rolle can play fairly well you have two great cover corners. This will help with the pass rush because the other teams qb will take longer to find the open man. Or I would take the best impact player avilable on the board cb, wr, lb... and the rest of the picks go ol and dl
it is the players that we have... pitt has been running this def for a while now and have over time have gained depth which makes them stronger.
i hope they don't draft a WR. we got a Pro-Bowl receiver on the team and we still haven't made good use of him. it's a shame that we can't put "Carr and Johnson" in the same breath as "Manning and Harrison" or "Culpepper and Moss"....yet I hope
Crowder (Sp?) from Florida is a playmaking linebacker... but I bet you guys end up with Marcus Spears you can also pay Darren Howard some $$ and draft O line

Is Matt Leinart staying for his Sr. year? Don't see any QB's going to be picked in the first round, but that's my opinion...
Ced #1? I dunno. He's a great college back, but the two best teams he faced this season both shut him down for the most part. It looks like there are alot of highly rated linemen, on both sides of the ball. I like the Texans' chances of landing an impact player.
Michigan's entire defensive game plan was to shut down Cedric. They did it so well that they forgot about Vince Young. Most pro teams have many other options to guard against that. Ced will be a fantastic pro RB. He's got the speed, power, patience, and agility to be a constant 1,000 yd RB in the NFL. I'd be willing to bet that the Texans will chose one of the OL or DL on that list with the 13th pick. Especially Barron.
we jumped from #16 to #13 after that loss on Sunday. That might end up being huge for us in the draft.
Kiper's list is made up of only seniors and does not include underclassmen. Barron will not be around when the Texans select at 13. The Titans and Bears and Browns, all of whom select before us, desperately need a left tackle.
Mike Williams is on there as a junior. His list will be updated as the underclassmen declare for the draft. In the last 24 hours Alex Smith, Aaron Rodgers and Vernand Morency declared. There will be many more. I wonder where Maurice Clarett is on Kiper's list.
The more underclassmen declare for the draft the better for us. We stole Dunta last draft and I believe we will be poised to still another quality CB, OL or LB in the first 2 rounds. Hey how is our injured tight end, Jopru [sp?], doing now? Is he officially done?
Bennie Jopru was pretty close to coming back this season. They almost activated him in mid-season but chose to IR him instead. He should be 100% for next season, barring any more set backs with his groin.
