When I first heard of Tyrod, I thought his name Tyrod was "Tie Rod" and it was a colorful manly nickname like "Hacksaw" Dugan or "Ironhead" Hayward. Very disappointed when I first saw his name in print and learned otherwise. I've always been secretly a little sad at the missed opportunity since then when his name comes up.

We don't oppose christianity. We oppose building a professional football team solely based on if the player or players meet Easterbunny's definition of religious and allowing a preacher to build such a team.
it's one thing to embrace Christianity in your personal life and quite another to embrace it as an organization. It would be like the company I work for coming out and saying we are a Christian company. One's business and one's personal faith should be kept separate.

Exactly that's what the contrarians miss when playing the contrarian role. And if you're going to do Christianity right (easterby) he can't be the dbag he is to regular people ie "the love the people in the building" quote from Deshaun that I always go back to.
He is in fact an evangelical Christian. He won't win many games for you if any, but what's important is when Jack Easterby gives his next locker room speech he will be surrounded by a choir of players just like Ty who will not mock him, tune him out, or otherwise rat him out to SI.
