Some inside info: My best friend met Will Demps last year at the Super Bowl, than again with Ruben Droughns at a strip club in Toronto this past summer. Will Demps, like most of the Giants, hates Tom Coughlin. But he likes strippers.
They're not starting on this team, But TELL ME after seeing the play of the Texans safeties last year and b****ing about it, that (theoretically) the day after last season ended if the Texans picked up both Michael Boulware and Will Demps within a week you wouldnt consider than an upgrade.
Yeah, incredible aint it? Maybe just maybe, our little team is starting to mature into something, huh?
I really like the trade for Boulware. That kind of trade just doesn't happen often in the NFL. It is one of those win-win for both teams at least in the beginning. But I don't really see Babin being much more than second string. What's great too is you don't have to worry about giving him playing time in hopes that he reaches his potential.
Well, IMO, CC Brown was definitely in the bottom 10 starting safeties in the league. The dude can't cover anybody, so ANYONE is an upgrade over him. My only concern is even with the Boulware and Demps signings, we still don't have a true coverage safety. Both the guys we got are decent at run defense, but outside of Dunta, we really don't have anyone that's great at pass coverage (outside of Mr. ATH Travis Johnson of course...haha). Either way though, the signings we've made since the end of last season have made this team into a true football team. It's obvious that we're headed in the right direction, and for that reason alone, I find it hard to complain about anything.
After Kailee Wong, this signing makes Demps the 2nd hapa (blasian) ever on the Texans, would it not? So is he considered black or asian? j/k don't answer that, i keed, i keed!

considering that guy is pretty damn good football player, I'm jealous and hate him already. j/k seriously, he may not like houston too long if he's trying to be a model/actor. hope he sticks around.
