Exactly. The story seems to be that the Broncos started negotiating again yesterday, upped their offer and may have upped it further but it became obvious to Elway that Osweiler was leaving so he ended discussions.

Texans are racist according to this guy https://www.facebook.com/minister.quanellx/posts/1069733333068375
BROTHAS & SISTAS - It's CRYSTAL CLEAR that the owners of the Houston Texans football team have signed black quarterbacks in the past, even if you don't remember it. ... What a shame. In fact my brothas & sistas, they just signed one this past season!
Malik Jackson to @JeffDarlington on if he was surprised Brock Osweiler left Denver: "I’m not going to say I’m surprised." Jackson on Broncos: "They could have gotten me done, could have gotten Danny done, could have gotten Brock done for less than nothing." Jackson on DEN: "I don’t know what they’re doing. I know they let go a lot of key players but I know that DEF is still going to be stout." Jackson on Osweiler: "I think he just wanted a place to kind of go out there and be that guy, and he felt that Houston was that place."
I was looking at Osweiler highlights and man did he throw to sanders a lot. those 2 connected beautiful alot of the time.. I wonder if he has hard feelings for Denver not signing his guy
wow . that was some of the most racist drivel i've read in a long time. First off, isn't the irony lost on these people (yes, I said THESE PEOPLE) that the vast majority of the team is actually black ? For people to make statements like "RGIII and KAP" are better options is laughable and that the FO is a boys club and won't hire blacks... all the posters are commenting like its normal to say the Texans should actively pursue a black QB, you know, just because he is Black. That's pretty much as racist as it gets. Segue: I live in hollywood and work in the film business. Right now, we are taking away roles GIVEN TO WHITE PEOPLE in the name of diversity... in many cases, the white actor was the unanimous choice of a diverse group of people because he/she was the best. But because of #Oscarssowhite and #BLM BS I personally know talent that are being denied jobs on race alone. In some cases, the actor was awarded the job and then taken away because the networks intervened. this country is going to *****. /endrant
Sure is hard out there for white folks. I can't imagine being a white person in America. Yep. And what was the point of posting that Quannel X meme. Just to initiate talk about how black people whine too much? Or, comments about how the country is going to crap because people are demanding equality? I don't get the purpose.
its in response to a previous post, I didn't post the original content and it was Texans relevant, so it has a purpose. And yes, when discrimination in any form is openly endorsed, then the country is going to hell in a hand basket. And no one said it isn't hard or easy for any particular race, its when racism becomes acceptable against any group that there are some serious societal breakdowns. And yeah, for the record, it can be tough for 'white folks." Try growing up in a communist country like my parents did, then flee as refugees with no money or ability to speak a language, and worry about the family you left behind and wonder whether you'll ever see them again. They lived in poor areas and put themselves through school while taking care of me and my siblings and we all took english classes together--so I'd say we actually were at a huge disadvantage. Its laughable to say 'white folks' got it easy when this country has amazing opportunities for all people-- just if you are willing to put hard work into it. Look at the NFl--its majority black. Do the black players deserve to be there? of course..they worked their butts off. Do they need affirmative action to get on the field? Nope. Should people of one race receive preference over another in any field, just because? Nope. Should all people have equal access? Of course but to bully, boycott and complain about the Texans going after a white QB vs. a Black QB and then cry racism is just laughable.

The original comment had no purpose other than to allow people like you to promote their terrible lack of understanding of structural inequality in this country. And yes, the NFL has a majority Black workforce, many of whom are millionaires, but you do understand that the NFL does not at all represent the norm? Right? I get it, Black people and other groups who struggle just need to work harder. Cool. I'll bow out and give you space for your closet racism.
