Ryan Denney and Adewale Ogunleye are nice veteran back-up players, IMO.
I can't wait to see McNabb being sacked by Ogunleye!

I like it fine... although if we were going to add 2 guys, I would've preferred signing the younger McCray.

Either way, we've added veteran depth and playoff experience in AO. Hope there's still enough lead in his pencil.

Um, is there a point to signing FAs to a bigger deal than they're willing to agree to? If they cut off negotiations with the best option and signed a practice squad guy instead to save money, that's an issue.

But neither of these guys could find a roster spot until now. There's no need to go Jerry Jones and waste millions of dollars just to do it.

Two great signings. Ogunleye can get to QB on passing downs, just like Barwin. And Denney is a major upgrade of Jamison. I wish we could find a way to add more depth in the secondary.

Texans seem to be extremely lucky with acquiring productive players on the waiver wire.

The Texans are such cheapskates!!! They should have signed AO and Denney to 4 times the amount of what both of those guys AGREED to play here for. Why they allowed those guys to sign for such little money is beyond me and common sense in general

    ...haters gonna hate...

Man there's only one AO on the Texans and thats Amobi-AO Fasho! :)
I'd go with WO or Wale(like the rapper) for Adewale Ogunleye.
As soon as I heard the Texans were looking at Wale Ogunleye I knew it was done cos he's mentored Amobi over the last few years and they're good friends.

All in all, two decent signings by the Texans that I can't quibble with. Hopefully they help bring the Redskins back down to earth next week. Wack ass 'Skins feeling good cos they won their Superbowl(Their home game against the Cowboys is it for them).

Why would you pay AO and Denny a lot more? These guys received an opportunity to play, isn't that the most important thing? Only Schobel wouldn't sign that kind of contract.

Don't forget these guys are both 33, so a 1 year contract is just fine for now. If one of them plays great this season, I can see the Texans offer one of them a two year contract and some extra $$$. We just have to wait and see what AO and Denny will bring to the table, this season.

As a Bears fan, I miss Ogunleye. He was hard working and underappreciated like Alex Brown and I think he should be a great addition to the Texans D. Not as fast as he was in his earlier years but still a hard worker. We just didn't need him around when we picked up Julius Peppers.
