What’s the story? Are they injured or they just suck?

Looks like the doghouse for this guy. Martinas rankin was a 3rd round pick and bob had no problem giving up on him after his rookie year, when OL was (and still is) a glaring concern.

I hope he plays well bc it sucks to see young guys do bad, but I want BOB to be exposed as a doofus in all aspects of his jobs.

So that means he REALLY had to suck to get the boot then!

Does it really matter that much in the scheme of things?
I mean whether you're subpar to mediocre (R.Smith) or just downright horrid (BoB) at talent evaluation you can't win long-term with either one.

At least Rick Smith was terrific with his first round picks. BOB just trades them all away...

And yeah Smith was pretty terrible outside of the first round, but he would somewhat make up for it with good undrafted FA signings.

He was by no means a good GM, but he wasn't this absolute dumpster fire BOB is.

Rick Smith was a good GM, but he wasn't great. You should be allowed to be just good for so long if you don't become or do something great. But I was the one shouting on here that you could do a lot worse than Rick Smith as an NFL GM.

Rick Smith looks like a legendary gm when compared to bill OBrien.

Remember, Smith's final move was drafting Watson, which was something BoB would not have done.

I heard on Espn radio that it was rumored to be a suspension that they kept quiet.

I havent watched a whole game or paid all that much attention to the rookie class or the Texans for that matter, but these are dumb tweets. From the small sample of size of a 3 game season, is he gonna feature one highlight for everyone drafted after Blacklock? Cause Im sure there UDFAs make plays on special teams too.

Cody isn't being 100% serious, Texans Twitter is just blowing up today as you would imagine. BUT... the guys highlighted have been pretty good for 3 games. It's not just one play. I would have loved Jonathan Taylor, even over David Johnson. AJ (I liked him too) is an edge rusher so I can see why the Texans wanted someone inside like Ross over him. But these guys have produced and look very promising. He cherry picked players who have been highlighted as rookies who have really impressed (not just one play or one game) and were picked after Ross.
